They can't do much more than lay out the objectives of the campaign and deliver on them. The timescales on returning the assays were pretty much in line with previous (from the last cores being sent off though it is logical that they have been in receipt of the early holes for a while now). As expected they have delivered results from phase one as a package. I don't see that there is anything to argue about with this RNS, another building block in the PFS with the economics from metallurgy and ore sorting to follow, as I said earlier I'm not expecting sustainable gains in the mcap until funding is settled so let's try not to get ugly on here if the SP continues to disappoint. That's probably an unlikely wish so I think I'll check out for the day! :)

Really don't understand what you're getting at JMA, the design of this campaign is unique in it's objectives, with ore-sorting and metallurgy to come. Which are the buzz words you object to and why?

Yep Mm's - still trying to digest the results overal but it looks steady as you go with results in this low grade area exceeding expectations, so the purpose of the campaign very much achieved. As ever we find copper but they have formally put it on the back burner, I guess the decision is that to prove the feasibility of the mine it makes sense to concentrate on the most significant elements of the resource Zn, Pb-Ag so it remains a tantalising side show. Personally I don't expect a significant 'holdable' uplift in the SP on this as questions over funding remain but for anyone holding for a deliverable project this is a good day.

Hi Bricks - I put that point to LR after the last student field trip and he said that what they were shown was very strictly controlled so I guess we can take that at face value or be cynical as we'll never know. Perhaps that is why Jesús uses the phrase 'technical aspects' perhaps to make the point that it's not about the mineral grades, but there again technical aspects could mean anything I suppose. Overall I definitely believe this type of engagement is a positive initiative but I also can't help being annoyed that they're more up to speed than us shareholders with hard earned at stake.

Heartwarming to know as we wait for news of funding that yesterday we hosted another batch of students. Just hope they brought their own sandwiches :)

Yes the mid price shouldn't be 11p really. Frustrating period this, three months since they packed off the first cores, two months since the 'value event' comment and no news on either, even the Mayors have gone on holiday.

Hi Bricks don't suppose you have any info on Lago? All I can find is that it came with Toral and we let it go, I'm 90% sure we didn't drill there but was there any historic drilling or reserve estimates? On the 3yr trailing average it will be rising anyway as long as metal prices remain high, though the effect of the 2020 Covid crash will be a drag for a while yet. Personally I don't think they'll dispense with it as a guide as they always emphasise that the project has to stack up in a weaker metal price environment.

Well if they are for him at least you can't say he isn't incentivised - they're currently only worth about £2K :)

Lor I had wondered if a deal did provide the kind of funds for us to broaden our horizons whether we would look at Lago again. We acquired it at the same time as Toral but yielded the licence I think in 2018 to concentrate on Toral. Antonina may also provide opportunities, it became uneconomic in the 80's but still has ore in-situ and is right on our doorstep. Probably need to hear how we plan to move the ball forward at Toral first though :)

That's interesting Bricks, I guess it doesn't alter much for us as the next updated JORC would be issued with the PFS anyway. Shouldn't affect the reporting of the grades in the assays though, unless I've missed something.

Interesting read Bricks, wouldn't mind some solid news from Europa though. Looking at the first Tweet of cores on a pallet going for analysis (we don't know if for assay, metallurgy or ore sorting analysis) it was dated 2nd March. So that's three full calendar months since those particular samples were sent off, I can't believe they haven't been processed yet so I guess we can only assume that they are collating results from 'phase 1' in its entirety before going public.

I've read some whoppers on these boards but stating that you've sold up only to claim two weeks later that a mysterious mix up with your broker means you still hold is right up there. If you're going to make grandiose predictions about the future of the SP and markets generally then at least have a consistent story. I fully expect that should the SP continue to track down below 53p we'll hear that your broker did sell them after all :)

If that is directed at me Stiltrev the point of my post was to highlight the inconsistencies of a poster who seems to be on a campaign to get SHI holders to sell up. As for 'substance', I'm not really seeing any analysis in your post, ironic.

Mm's as far as we know they're still drilling, they certainly were on the local news and the pictures clearly show a box with TO-34, the first phase was 028-030 so assuming they're number sequencing logically that's at least three more holes since the first phase. I had one month in mind for assays but double checking 024 & 025 it was six weeks, though 025 had to be re-assayed which could have caused a delay. I'm not ruling out a straight sale, but to me it looks the most unlikely outcome on current evidence.

It appears to me more and more likely that EUZ are positioning themselves to develop Toral - the appointments, local engagement and so on. I also think the jurisdiction would favour working with us having established relationships rather than seeing it go to a major. Whether Lundin would come back in as a partner I don't know, I remember Myles once saying that Toral is too small for Lundin but then why were they looking at it in the first place? Certainly the missing piece of the jigsaw is funding and it seems likely that news of that or this elusive 'value event' will be the clearest indication yet of which way this is going.

I don't want to bring the house down but dare I say the SP seems quite resilient to this near complete lack of interest, imagine if we became slightly interesting? Probably multi-bag in a day :)
