Newbie I'm relieved at least one poster is old enough to get the 'High Chaparral' reference :) I think you go slightly too far with "No comms and general apparent apathy", that isn't how I see it. I do however think they're stretching our patience following the 'value event' comment over two months ago only for nothing to follow. Of course the time lapse will be forgiven in the event that they deliver but for me it shows a complete lack of understanding of long suffering PI's concerns to fluff the HYR with what now feels like a tease rather than real substance. I'm often perplexed at getting cast as some kind of EUZ blind believer as I think I talk more about the real risks more than most (IMO) however I have defended LR from certain criticisms as I feel he cops a lot of the angst on here perhaps due to his idiosyncratic presenting style while MC never seems to come under fire yet he was more vocal in the 'non-dilutive options' hints before the last placing. Anyway I'm sure they don't care less what we think but they've gone down in my estimations to have dropped that hint into an RNS without it being imminent, makes you wonder if the flaming Nomad actually review and authorise these things. I have approached Strand Hanson about another matter in the past but got blanked.

Agreed, that's the way I see it CHRI5P, I think the original MICON inferred and indicated copper resource would have been torn up when AMS reworked the modelling of our primary Pb, Zn Ag reserves. Although I hoped it might be possible there probably isn't time to get a new indicated copper credit into the PFS and we don't need it to prove the economic viability of the mine in any case. Guess it will remain a tantalising enigma for the foreseeable. On partners, funding etc I still feel so much depends on what could be procured from EU or regional funding but it's true to say we need to be wary about which way we go. As I think I said on news of the AH appointment we can't can't assume that any deal is a good deal as long as it isn't a placing, I suspect we'll find out in the not too distant future though perhaps phase 2 drilling completion will come next on the news front.

Interesting that they recovered the Mercury at Rubiales as a saleable product. I wonder if they did the same with the Cadmium as it was used in batteries back then. I believe Cadmium is still used in solar panels but it is a bit of a controversy as it is hazardous waste if not disposed of safely. I guess we'll finally have to hear about our impurities for the PFS.

Well with EUZ if you didn't risa you'd llorar Grappa :) Seriously though I think things will start looking up soon, I think we need to know to what extent the authorities want to help us (if at all) before choosing our own funding path. A dream scenario would be if EU money could fund us to a BFS at which point we could stand firmly on our own two feet but that's just me hoping. I really have no idea what's going to happen but like everyone else hope its not a placing which is why I hope we hear something before July.

Fair enough, it doesn't look dissimilar to the one we're using maybe slightly less beefy but your eBay drill has a max depth of 850m so I guess it would do a job. I assume the drill bits are very expensive, I wonder how many they get through? My guesstimate from Myles' comment was $0.5m for a deep drill which might take over a month, so even if you said 50 days that comes out at US$10,000 per day. I would imagine for such a long campaign we could negotiate a better day rate though. Who wants to annoy LR and ask, he's at a big event today, not my exclusive so I'll leave it to sleuths who told me if they want to share :)

Mm's I'm pretty certain it is considerably more than £1000 quid per day for the drilling rig and crew. I don't know exact figures but I'd guess it would be nearer 10x that. Didn't Myles say US$0.5m for one deep drill?

Jed I don't think 34.5p is a distant dream at all and neither to TP apparently, IMO it is only one decent funding RNS away. As for copper, compared to our principle products it isn't of great significance within the current block model, certainly in proving the feasibility of the mine, that's no secret and I have never pretended otherwise. What is interesting to me today is that there does now seem to be a strategy for understanding it better albeit some time down the road. This won't be universally popular but then I don't post here as part of a popularity contest but I have to say that some of the dismissive comments about today's RNS I find absolutely flabbergasting. They outlined a strategy for these drills and delivered above and beyond on the assays with the impact of ore sorting to come we could have a mining zone coming into play outside of current estimates. Obviously the good news is choked off by funding concerns and I share that frustration but the apparent lack of interest in the actual content of today's RNS by all but a minority of posters is pretty dispiriting for me.

Wow and we don't even want it all :) Certainly a solid RNS today and although a copper resource will definitely not be in the PFS this is the first time they have given a nod to a long term strategy for exploiting it. I don't quite understand the advantage of exploring it post production and not in the intervening period between a decision to build a mine and reaching production. I'm also not on top of why EUZ and TP both relate the future copper exploration so closely to the LOM, maybe they know they will have to go deep to understand this 'separate thermal event' so the two objectives tie together?

Interesting this suggestion of post production exploration of the copper and linking it to extending the LOM. Does TP's computer get stuck at 34.5p though? Perhaps they should try switching it off and back on again.

Teaye they will Commission Addison Mining Services to review our assays (which are independently calculated as well) as you rightly say as a competent person to evaluate what can be considered a fair inferred, indicated and hopefully measured resource estimate. The last time there was a clear date from commissioning to results it took just over a month. I expect it to happen after this second phase of drilling which must be nearly done if they go for the same number of holes as phase 1. By the way after some comments suggesting that today's news is just the same old I found this diagram really helpful in explaining what is going on:

Core from TO-34 was visible in boxes during the tv visit which is why I think they could possibly be on 035 and near to concluding phase 2.
