Yes I agree with that in theory Highside but EUZ's mistake was not to bite the bullet when we were flavour of the month pre SS. We were woefully low on funds required to advance the project but undertook a series of tiddly raises. As we all know the SS mistakes have put us on the back foot ever since. Hindsight is a wonderful thing of course but I think investors will soon cotton on if every time the SP gets fluffed a placing follows.

Bricks I have written to Strand Hanson before about something else and didn't get a reply. Perhaps if we all bombard them today about the 'value event' they might take notice? (info@strandhanson.co.uk) Mfm I just wrote a lengthy reply about why I think people are looking in the wrong place to blame LR's salesmanship but reading it back I think I'm going to upset 95% of the board so honestly if the majority want to believe that's the biggest problem then so be it :) Personally I think there are some more significant debits in the risk column to overcome yet which must explain why we can't attract a new reportable holding. I do however agree that a slicker and more flamboyant performer as our front man would likely attract more PI's and perhaps increase the volume, not sure it would make much difference in the long term though.

Mfm, agree with much of that and while it doesn't really matter who said it I find it strange that the blame is always laid at LR's door when it was indeed MC. It's also worth noting that they presented at the analysts event together and both attended EMEA. Anyway they obviously liaise on RNS comments so that they don't overlap and duplicate so joint responsibility is perhaps fairer. Where I disagree with you a little is on 'selling' Toral to institutions, certainly if LR was slickest salesman on the planet it wouldn't do any harm but I fear that the lack of results can't just be put down to some failure of style or inability to 'excite' institutional analysts. They won't give a **** about that IMO, they don't even need to like the man - they won't be investing impulsively but crunching the data and I believe we need to dig much deeper to understand why, to date, no new institutions want a piece of us. I put some thoughts forward earlier so won't repeat but I just don't think its credible to believe that the problem is purely down to a failure of presentation or salesmanship.

I see what you're getting at CHRI5P, I also think because we're so low it's possible that bigger money doesn't need to risk at these levels. There are likely to be lower risk opportunities to invest in the future with lower reward but much greater certainty. Just a theory that I've mulled over in the past.

Oh sorry Sammy it read as if you thought it was under $100m. The problem with NPV is it doesn't mean much until you're financed, hopefully some of those government bods can help with that :) It does sound like this early doors drilling will bring the break even down significantly, particularly as we should be processing material previously considered waste.

I have to admit to being slightly concerned at the apparent zero rate of success from the EMEA events and analysts day. If they couldn't convince a single new institution to have a reportable nibble then we do have to ask ourselves why. Are we simply unable to turn their heads from what are perceived as hotter metals currently than Pb/Zn? Is the LOM a concern as we currently don't have the cash to prove what almost certainly lies beneath? Sorry I know I bang on about this but is the incomplete picture on deleterious elements putting off the big boys? I'm only guessing but something on the scales of risk / reward is preventing them wading in at this juncture. LR has often commented that industry contacts tell him they can't believe our mcap is so low so how come mining funds don't see this as an amazing opportunity? Sometimes I think I must be missing something because going back over my earlier points we know Zn will have a massive role to play in the electric revolution, lead will be a steady performer with its unique characteristics for construction etc, plus the silver speaks for itself. Re. LOM there is no logical way that the high grade thrusting shoots are going to magically disappear at depth. That just leaves impurities and the fact is after almost two years of metallurgy we still don't know what they are, could that be the critical uncertainty?

That's true ant. I think Lynchwood Nominees contain DB's holdings and I'm guessing the Directors must be in Jim Nominees. If that is the case then I don't think CB can have sold since he resigned as their % has actually risen since Aug 2020.

Yes I know lor - have similar feelings though I was about to make the same point as Mm's. Are we limping with dwindling funds to another placing or about to announce a complete funding package that clears the path to development - "Death or glory becomes another story" :)

"The mine to smelter gate formula used by Skarn particularly pertinent to Europa as we move forward with various initiatives" - there was some Mayoral comment a while back about a potential green smelter project in the region. Maybe this is the plan and explains why there hasn't been any smelter compatibility work with Glencore yet. Got to be honest and say I don't know if that would normally be expected as a component of a PFS and haven't been able to get a definitive answer but the question was put at the analyst event last year and not tackled head on.

Agreed CHRI5P as I said earlier WAI know everything about our concentrate including the inevitable unwanted elements that us PI's still haven't been informed about and I don't think they'd have tendered for a contract (that they surely don't desperately need) unless they thought it would reflect well on their brand. I take it as a big positive. There do seem to be some popular AIM explorers such as EUA and GGP getting absolutely wacked at the moment so perhaps we're better off in the shadows for now :)
