I expected something this week to be honest CJ, even if it was just that they've finished drilling. If anyone had said in January that the campaign would go into a seventh month I don't think it would have been believed. Must admit to being worried about funds though, as a responsible business I believe they must surely know where the next funding is coming from, the problem is from our point of view, that could be a good or bad thing :)

Quite Bricks I think it will play well for EUZ that they upped the local engagement long before the pandemic and subsequent recovery funds. We should be well placed just would love to get news of something before op's news starts flowing or else we'll probably still be in the catch-22 of funding doubts overshadowing everything. Grappa it is never my intention to drive anyone off the board but I will take on anyone who posts misleading information. I'm not going to forensically go back through Highside's posts (mainly because I think 'Fake or Fortune' is a rare gem on TV and I've missed the first 10 mins) prior to when they stated they'd bought some shares but it went well beyond negativity into inaccuracy. Anyone doubting me can check back if they want to make an assessment of that, posting history is a telling legacy. You mentioned BB who you obviously rated as a poster, nothing wrong with that but personally I found the relentless negativity interspersed with news of the latest top up duplicitous but I didn't think BB was always badly informed, we didn't agree on much but there were certainly numerous times when I stated that I was in agreement. For the record BB often resorted to directing personal insults at me but usually within the parameters of LSE rules, sure things like 'moron' and 'idiot' aren't going to bother me or LSE but I didn't direct these things at BB so I would question your description of that poster as 'eloquent' and certainly would question who showed more restraint in those exchanges. Personally I think it's a curiosity that the written word on social media seems to cause offence when in the more liquid form of the spoken word disagreements will be negotiated with social agility (usually) face to face, I don't include Eastenders in that analysis :) Basically to everyone my message is don't mistake assertive debate and strong opinions as an attempt to shut anyone up, disagreement is just part of the discussion not an attempt to censor, anyone who feels that it is, probably lacks conviction in their opinions and after all how ludicrous is it to suggest that any individual poster can silence another??? Going back to Eastenders I would have to have them 'rubbed aaat' :)

At the time I asked if there was any significance in this specific location but they wouldn't comment. I do however think they could have been shown the areas where we could restore the landscape. If you look on the 'latest video' at 3:48 they highlight two quarries. I also remember in the SS there was something along the lines that nothing we do should be visible from the Las Médulas World Heritage Site certainly in terms of tailings, can't remember about plant. If we can actually remediate the landscape then that sounds like brownie points to me and is exactly the sort of thing that will attract grant money. Hopefully....

Wow that's interesting Bricks - so Castilla y León has €741,262,070 to distribute and we know the DG of Mining CyL has visited us recently. Nothing is a certainty yet but reasons to feel optimistic I feel.

On the grants / loans it's highly debatable whether we'll get a 'slam dunk' here's €Xm for our BFS and CAPEX to production. Perhaps more likely that funding will be more targeted as we have already seen. We know that the Junta want us to restore the quarries so perhaps an environmental grant to assist with that - they get their landscaping / we save on tailings management. Having said that we are living through a unique period so maybe anything is possible, I'd certainly like to see funding cleared up before operational results start filtering through or they will yet again fail to progress the mcap IMO.

Commodity security, ethically sourced, jobs & prosperity in a historic mining region that needs investment.

Grow up Highside you know very well that when you first started posting you commenced a dialogue of undermining Europa which then not so subtly altered when you put down some hard earned so take it like a man and accept that I will scrutinise what you post. I only pulled you up on 'Duel' because you cast the first stone on pronunciation so don't winge about that either. For the record I find the idea of kicking a cat pretty distasteful but agree that it's one of those expressions that has endured from another era so you might not, I wouldn't consider it reportable. Carry on posting, I actually think you have improved your research since you invested but don't get so prickly if I disagree with you.

Thanks grappa I'd missed Highside's last contribution - most entertaining. Look, let's get this clear nobody I believe, least of all myself is trying to hound anyone off the board but prior to putting some cash at risk (don't want to open up the punt/investment thread) Highside posted a series of inaccuracies about EUZ which I challenged. There is nothing wrong with a vigorous debate as long as you can stay within limits. I don't claim to be the greatest authority on EUZ, there are certain things that I haven't been able to get clarity on which I'm not happy about so I'm certainly not after a place on a throne as you put it, but I will challenge anyone who posts misleading information, if that causes upset so be it but I don't accept that the right to post an opinion supersedes the right of another poster to point out that it's plain wrong. Finally I'm very happy with my position here, I'm fortunate enough to have built the majority of my holding at low levels though as an honest fellow I will willingly confess I'm marginally in the red on trading and my ISA holding is also red as things stand. If anyone wants to gloat you could argue that the opportunity cost of having this capital tied up for years makes the position worse than that - I wouldn't argue, that is an economic fact.

Good find Bricks - let's hope that we're in their plans. Just a snippet on hydrology - it struck me at the time as interesting that they put it up top as a key workflow in preparing the PFS. This from the Annual Report:
• Completion of certain of the key elements of a Pre Feasibility Study for the Toral Project:
– Hydrogeological drilling and monitoring report to confirm the findings of the 2020 Independent analysis that water levels at Toral are within acceptable boundaries for future development.
– Combined resource and metallurgical drilling campaigns to improve surety in the resource and processing design/concentrate characteristics.
– Further community, geotechnical, waste management and environmental work to continue to be progressed.
Personally I find this really encouraging - headline resource upgrades will turn investors heads but if you're serious about building a mine the jurisdiction, who at the end of the day can make or break us, are more concerned with environmental, social and regional economic impacts than precisely how much metal investors can expect to be recovered.

In either scenario the SP of the JSE shares is closely connected to the SP of the LSE shares for the reasons I explained yesterday. Just give it up Highside you're digging a deeper and deeper hole for yourself. Anyway I'm certain everyone will agree this is getting boring so I'll leave it there.

Highside I have nothing against you but since you have been posting here you are regularly issuing daft statements like "The SP for the JSE shares has little to do with the SP of UK listed shares". If you want to post your opinion be prepared for it to be scrutinised, it's nothing personal. Perhaps just stop and think and maybe you won't feel repeatedly offended when your errors are pointed out.

Why don't you ask Dan Smith, he should be able to provide a definitive answer. Top tip - ask about dual listings not 'duel'.

I don't think we got 100% to the bottom of this last time it came up, at least I know I didn't so if anyone has a definitive expert explanation please go for it. However as far as I understand it you would have to sell your shares on JSE and buy back on the LSE when the trade has been settled (unless you were prepared to commit additional cash before settlement). Assuming that is the case I still wouldn't agree with the statement that the 'SP for the JSE shares has little to do with the SP of UK listed shares' as discrepancies between the two create arbitrage opportunities for international traders meaning the exchanges should roughly equalise. Logically there are other factors that could mean an exact match isn't inevitable, an obvious example being the greater currency risk in SA (no offence intended), so if you had an urgent need to liquidise your holding it would generally be considered advantageous to have quick Sterling rather than quick Rand. It's a complex area and not something I know a lot about but 100% the SP's on the JSE and the LSE are closely related.

Also a bit galling that they are testing freight traffic on the Amur bridge. All these years of waiting for it to cut IRC transportation costs and the benefit could pass to another entity at a bargain price just as it becomes operational.
