Frustrating we were central to the inception of it - I think IRC only sold on the ownership of the project in 2014 (check that, may have been part ownership - anyone remember?) so to lose IRC when the bridge will revolutionise their transportation costs to China is a bit of a tragedy. Nice rise anyway.

Will certainly help their ESG to source limestone from mining waste rather than digging more quarries. These kind of synergies are going to be a big part of the future. Assays don't normally take 2 months Props but who knows I'm sure they can find a justifiable technicality for not releasing them to market swiftly should they prefer to get something else out there first. I have found the metallurgy less predictable in the past. Much as I'm fascinated by all the operational news I fear our fate as an investment is hanging on news of whether they have found a more creative way of raising money than in the past. Anyone confident? :)

As WAI have had those wedge samples for almost four months we could get some metallurgy soon plus the most recent assays are coming up. It's been said before but I'm hoping the funding is sorted before op's news or it will be the old story of good field work overshadowed by cash worries, they must know that.

Nothing like a bad loser eh? :) I have a feeling our destiny with EUZ will become clearer in the near future , lot's of op's results due imminently and I believe there has to be some clarity on funding good or bad soon.

Yes I think there is a reasonable and logical case that we could get something. I don't think it likely that it will be a company making amount as being Aus registered and UK/SA listed will go against us to an extent, however we have already proved that we can secure regional support and LR has been canny in pushing these educational links and demonstrating that we are already employing young Spanish people. One of the criteria is youth employment and social cohesion so for a region used to losing its young people in recent times that's a tick in the plus column. Hopefully they have made the case that UK & SA shareholder support (and pain) has helped create these opportunities up until now, so it should hardly be considered immoral for private overseas investors to indirectly benefit from the fund. I'm cautiously optimistic.

I hope so Mm's but until they give us some clarity on funding the dreaded placing can't be ruled out. It's not just the drilling, there's money flying out all over the place - to WAI (met), ALS (assays) and AMS won't come cheap when we get round to updating the JORC. Still, I think there is a reasonable case that we could get some of this EU recovery money. Spain has just received the first €9b tranche and I read in El País that only Italy will benefit more than Spain from the fund, so lot's more to come. The tantalising thing is I reckon we only need a modest sum to remove the uncertainty over funding to a BFS and we should re-rate but crikey I reckon we're entering a critical period. El crunch :)

Not sure we can be that close to the PFS ant. I'd assume we'd need all the assays back and then commission AMS to update the resource estimate, until we finish drilling it's difficult to estimate how long that lot is going to take. Seven months of drilling getting some twitchy about funds perhaps?

I appreciate the sentiment tsbs, if it helps I hope you get your money back, in that respect our interests are aligned. Is there no potential news flow that would encourage you to retain a stake? Just thinking it sounds like for you to get your money back something positive would have to land that could potentially change your mind.

I asked about his remuneration when the appointment was announced and was told that as an advisor it was confidential. Not particularly happy about that but I assume that in the event of a transaction it would have to be accounted for in the remuneration report in the annual report or annual accounts. Not a situation I have past experience of though.

I wouldn't advise anyone to average down tsbs, that's up to them, but equally I wouldn't decry its merits. Doing so has allowed me to trade some and make some cash while we wait for a bigger move which I believe is coming. In fact I could have exited twice in the last 12 months - once in good profit and once with a more modest profit if I had wished to do so, logically other LTH's who like me have averaged down must be in a similar position. I don't know if a value event is coming or if we're going to get hit with another placing but the 5p shares have helped me to manipulate a position here that I'm happy with, certainly don't feel trapped, very happy with the work but unhappy with the uncertainty over funding.

Nononsense I can't speak for everyone but I can't recall any widespread misunderstanding about us being registered in Australia. I suppose we could debate about you using the term 'based'. I would say we are based in Spain (subject to Spanish law operationally), registered in Australia (and yes subject to Aus corp regulations), and exchange listed in the UK and SA.

I don't disagree with your statement Highside that they are obligated to perform whatever their salary might be. I was just requesting some facts around the point around their wages 'doubling or trebling' when the CH left. It couldn't have been when the last CH left (CB) and when JT resigned LR was promoted to Exec and MC was yet to join. What do you mean by 'strange soapbox' by the way?
