Was just looking around at other projects in the region as of course we can't assume all this training is specifically for us and stumbled on an interesting page from Emerita Resources which details Zn, Pb, Ag, Cu & Au intersects in N. Spain. From what I can tell their ore is similar to ours so your point about Au is relevant though didn't LR have something to say to you about that? :)

I know Bricks, there has been derision about the copper in the past but the information has always been there. I can also understand some PI's finding the Tweets about students etc irksome, tough when you're underwater, but the local engagement was impressive foresight from the team and will be really important when it gets to the nuts and bolts of getting a mining licence and building this.

Interesting Bricks and they won't be training to go back into coal mining. Hi Grappa, thanks, I think a 'corporate transaction' could be many things but from what I got back at the time of enquiring I would narrow it down to the banks which is likely to involve AH or some form of B2B agreement. That's all I know really but I'm certain that they weren't referring to possible grants as a 'value event' in the actual RNS, even though they naturally would be if they came along, fingers crossed.

It's a jigsaw coming together, the JORC figures are important but without the metallurgy just a number without proof that the products can be practically and economically extracted, looked at the other way round proof that we have top class grade and recovery rates wouldn't mean much without a meaningful resource to go after. Similarly economic forecasts are incomplete without the geotechnical work and hydrology. Just to help clear something else up I see it regularly discussed what the 'value event' might be. Whatever the rights and wrongs of MC & LR putting it in the RNS and to date its non-appearance it's not ambiguous what they were referring to - it is a potential corporate transaction.

I did ask if Conrad had any marketable by-products to sell and was told not. Let's see, things can change, it wasn't so long ago that the consensus was that the copper wasn't worth pursuing.

I'd have thought that's more likely to be the traces of Cu Bricks, possibly in the chalcopyrite ore form but don't quote me on that!! I think that's the ore mineral that hosted copper at Antonina over the road anyway but the reading is bit sketchy on it so I'm not stating facts just possibilities. Didn't LR put the Au thing to bed when Las Médulas our historic neighbouring gold mine came up before?

I take your point but I suppose we have to think that far ahead Bricks as what we could be doing in approx 14 years time informs the actions that EUZ take now. I was just wondering when they might conduct some metallurgy on the copper, after all we need to know if there is a practical economic method to extract it.

One thing I'm not on top of is what happens to the copper that is mined during the years that are currently modelled as a PB, Zn, Ag mine. I suppose there would be plenty of time to have a metallurgical campaign on the Cu if the current Pb,Zn,Ag leads to a positive final investment decision.

Mm's it would indeed add to the LOM if the source of the copper is below the 1000m cut off, we just need someone with deeper pockets to enter into an agreement over it. I think MC mentioned US$0.5m per deep drill. I also wonder if they've raised the profile of the copper as it pushes our credentials as part of the electrification future.

Quite Bricks, the Cu has always shown up but they've always been coy about what it could mean for us. To hear that it could potentially lead to a third party partnership is a big step forward.

CHRI5P I'm pretty certain that any party with access to the data room will have signed an NDA and as such will not be permitted to buy on the open market anyway. Can't remember where I heard or read that so if anyone can confirm I'd be interested to see the proof in legalese. Anyway I can't imagine a serious suitor attempting to acquire us without due diligence so I believe we're protected in that sense. You're right though we've seen before what happens when the volume of buys increase so anyone outside of NDA attempting to acquire a significant stake would move the market massively.

milnrow I simply go on the London Stock Exchange site and they pop up reliably at 7am. There's usually about seven pages to scroll through but I find it the best way to find out reliably, asap if anything you have an interest in has an announcement. The likes of investigate.co.uk or lse are usually well behind and particularly investigate can't handle the traffic around 7am.

Props if you did want to come back about the commerciality point please do, if you feel you've said your bit no problem just don't be put off by that little exchange :) Right I'm off to water the garden and sip chilled white wine, who said Rock and Roll was dead :)

You would be well advised to stop and think before you post Highside because you appear to be in some kind of deranged tailspin. Not everyone is posting to try and move the SP, my main motive for posting is because it is the investment in my portfolio that fascinates me the most and sometimes because I see false information that I want to put right. Again your habit of making sweeping statements fails you. "Posters dont have credibility", that's ridiculous you can't speak for everyone, I know of posters who have no credibility like you and some who do have credibility like Bricks who has been around for ever and has good comms with LR. Let's see if I can walk you through it - if Bricks said LR was about to sell the project for less than £4m I'd be worried if you said it I wouldn't. See how it works?

"Ha ha and how old is that JORC and how relevant is to (sic) today?". Just over a year old as anyone researched would know. That JORC contributed to the PEA, then drilling, then assays and then update the JORC, it's not complicated. Oh and the old JORC is completely relevant today because the infill drilling is designed under guidance from AMS to build on it, you don't throw it away each time, I've rarely seen a poster's credibility sink so consistently post upon post.

Highside do you try to look silly deliberately? If so you're doing a great job. I guess you didn't read the RNS just looked at Twitter? We already have a JORC, try reading the PEA. LR is just saying that the latest assays will build on the current JORC "Europa Metals is now assessing the impact of these final assay results on its existing global and indicated resource and commissioning a new independent updated resource estimate from Addison Mining Services Limited". Honestly this is basics, do some reading.

Props let me know if I am misinterpreting your post but I would take slight issue with the comment "without tangibly progressing commerciality of our mineral-laden rocks", that is exactly what all the work leading to the PEA has done and we're about to take the next step of increasing certainty around the commerciality of the project with the PFS. Everything that is being done in the field is to prove that mining our products will be economically viable. I do completely agree that the market wants certainty around funding, I'm guessing we can all agreee that is what is holding us back?

I think we all know what's holding us back but it's ridiculous that our mcap was higher years ago pre-metallurgy, pre-indicated when the asset wasn't at all de-risked bar the historical drilling. IMO though it is anomalies like that which create huge opportunities on AIM. Think of all this good operational news like an elastic band stretching and when the right funding news come in we'll be released, sling shot city! Not encouraging anyone to over invest, me might go snap in the meantime :)
