The sharp drop did coincide with Priti Patel announcing a public inquiry into the Salisbury Novichok case. I'm assuming trading algorithms can react to political news.

Nbear we've had the resource update from 2021 drilling (1st Oct).

It does raise a number of questions Bricks. Sounds like we need more resource drilling before a PFS. That means exploration costs, assays, new JORC plus the day to day cash burn to run the company. So on one hand we look short of money to achieve this and yet the new investors (who you can bet your bottom dollar were aware of this) came in at 5p. I still don't understand how we can even consider allocating scarce funds to acquisitions unless we execute on the existing asset. I think 'CJ's list' might need to be tweaked again.

CAPEX to production $79m to be accurate, isn't that approx £58m? For me the more pressing concern is whether we are funded to deliver a BFS at which point financing the mine is a different ball game.

Interesting thoughts Mailgirl, I've always been surprised at how all the angst is directed at LR who at least seems energised and focussed on EUZ unlike MC, yes I know, crap SP, more dilution etc before anyone gets apoplectic at the slightest hint of defending our CEO struggling by on the AIM equivalent of the minimum wage :) but I think virtually all the positives we can at least take some comfort from are down to LR and the Spanish team on the ground. It's definitely a confusing picture at the minute, will there prove to be some 'method in the madness'? well Hamlet was a tragedy so I honestly don't know.

Mailgirl you seem to me a level headed poster so don't take this the wrong way but the Bennelong, UFO, Dan Smith connection was apparent to anyone keeping their ear to the ground, they haven't just cobbled this together. What I do agree with is calls for a statement as to how Bennelong, the new investors and our Board plan to improve the corporate strategy.

This has been the rumour since the placing but as Teaye said I would rather LR presents something official with Bennelong with regards to strategy before the AGM, he must realise that most PI's will have already sent their postal votes to their nominees. I've always thought that if the new investors wanted LR out then he will be gone as part of the bargain so he's either resigned to that or confident that he has their support. Seeing this on Proactive before we get something official is making me much less convinced of the outcome I expected.

Oh I'd assumed $US not AUS. I think if it was $AUS then $171.5 would be < £112K so it must be US, I think?

It's $171.5 grappa but still much too high given the SP performance and cash position IMO. I wasn't too fussed at £75K given the average salaries across AIM are way higher, but to have the pay rise to £112K, 2020-21 isn't right. CJ will be asking about this and also about the fees that get remuneration from £112 to $171.5 (approx £127K).

I suspect today the market will be torn between the 'buy the rumour sell the news brigade' versus JORC / deal expectations, will be interesting to see which wins out.

How can you shout anyone down on a bulletin board? If you're that weak minded to feel shouted down or ridiculed, run off and come back as someone else posing as a potential new investor then that's your own issue. I have never had a problem with critical views I have posted enough myself throughout my time here. My problem with you was the duplicity of running the company down and then announcing that you'd just topped up whenever it looked like a good move to have made. If you feel triumphant that the negative version of BB / Highside is vindicated then I'm happy for you but it must be cold comfort given that your actions as an investor has put you in reality in exactly the same position as the bulls. Anyway I'm sure the rest of the board won't be enjoying this and I'm certain you will want the last word so I leave you the floor, I have a date with a box of flies and some lovely Grayling water so I won't be concerning myself with your prattle for the rest of the day.

In terms of a complete sale then Toral is obviously substantially all or our assets so it has to be recommended to shareholders for a vote. Without doing some digging I'm not sure about JV.

Highside it wasn't long ago that you were berating me for talking about funding issues after your not so well disguised reincarnation so think on that for a minute will you, thank you. Right back to the company, total remuneration to Key MP 2021 $414,961, it only dropped from 2020 because CB left, LR and MC had substantial increases, given our now limited fund raising abilities I don't think that is sustainable, not sure what we can do about it though but I know that CJ will be raising it at the AGM.
