Suhail, I am jealous of you. Your research and knowledge of companies is sound and very thorough. You have a good understanding of the psychology behind the buys and sells. You provide an excellent, compelling and indepth pro and con report on most companies which you research. You sound like a mature - seasoned investor.
My only issue with you is that you often pick rags and riches stock, a glory hunter. -you often pick stock which is one one strike away from falling into administration or unable to pay the next bill. Companies which most risk-averse investors would avoid. And when it does well you bathe in the glory (rightly so). Most people who bought at 2.5p and not sitting on value of 0.9p would be thinking when will it hot 2.5p again so i could bail!
These oil stocks take ages to recover (if it ever does).............years and years of waiting......................(look at the share chart)...... The Opportunity cost is massive............delay buying a house, a car, having a holiday, investing in other stocks etc During that time, placings, dilutions and project cost overruns, inflationary cost, Govt ratification, Unstable economies, recession, civil war all erode and impact shareholders.
Is it worth it? i personally dont think so.
The winners were those who bought immediately before the rise and sold when it peaked two weeks ago.
Those caught up expect a prison sentence ...........................of a wait
Podcast has been viewed negatively by most. Baron exec seemed mostly elated that funding has been received. and pretty much everything else was second fiddle, 'probably', 'around about', 'should', 'would' Nothing definitive or solid.
TWICE he said 'we are funded for THIS YEAR' (If stuff isnt quantified this year expect a further placing/dilution folks!) 'Peru project August, Cudditch over the next few years'. Is he mad? Peru sounds like it can add a pittance to the value - cudditch is the saviour, but they are going to drag there heels in processing it. 'We will need to bring somebody else in' - The sooner the better mate! We are going to do 3d mapping of area? SHELL did a 2D mapping at many billions - save the money just take there word for it!
