Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
I know, the bloody vets bill is killing me.....
Unfortunately that may not be the case - 32k shares only.... (I say only... FFS).... Only saving grace was that I bought in to SLP at the same time, and that went up roughly 1000% (And I would have sold those if I could have done - at a much lower profit). Patagonia is not a good place to try and do share dealing.......
Ditto - my average is way lower (0.33p) and I wasn't in a position to do much about the drop due to the geography I was in, so I am at about 10% of my total investment at the moment. 15% rises very day for a year should do it..... :)
I think "WE" probably paid LCs BA account. Back in the day when I invested in KIBO the only saving grace was that I invested the same amount in SLP. That has covered my losses here, and trust me they are painful on the eye when I look at my II account. Everything happens for a reason, but it still smarts...
Not a direct correlation, but Informa shares up 6 - 7% today as the Events business is taking off again. This means more people travelling to events so more bums on seats in the Aviation industry. Good times ahead...
As boring a share as it is.. Mind you been a holder of this share for a number of years, and the dividend payments hitting my ISA have always had a sniff of excitement about them....
We don't like to get too excited, you want major ups and downs, mergers and demergers then this isn't the share for you, definitely got off at the wrong stop. This is the pretty consistent route, little bit of general growth, reliable dividends, and take a nap at 15:00 bus. Were definitely not going under any low bridges, I don't intend to take a haircut..... Is it nap time yet?
Not sure, looks like a load of big chunky buys this morning, and some sells later in the day... Someone looks to have bought a few chunks, and the price has hiked, and then they took their top slice....
A share buy back, just as the stock market has dipped off the back of a war in Ukraine.... Hmmm - Fortuitous timing, thanks Aviva board, you have been d*ck*ng your shareholders about for several years and now you announce this. Think I would rather had a one off dividend so I can go an invest in a share that isn't a dog, and doesn't have a board sitting behind it who appear over the last 5 years to not have a clue......
Feels like a slight over-reaction. There was relatively strong growth across the board, with the probable exception of the Reed Exhibitions business with was massively impacted by Covid, but which still grew in the 2nd half of 2021 (a strong bounce back). Gut feel is that 2022 will be a much stronger year with the Legal, medical and research business continuing steady growth and Exhibitions continuing to contribute far more to the revenue and profits throughout the year. This is a strong buy for me, all of the fundamentals of a strong business are there, just don't really understand the market reaction....
Looks like CITI group changing to Neutral stance, and the Fed rumours of interest rate hikes. Overblown reaction me thinks, but ho hum.
More concerned with todays drop, which doesn't seem to have a reason that I can see. Very odd - Still digging in to why?
Agree, it's a very boring share in a well managed company that seems to continue to perform. I like boring, I like the dividends, a bit more growth would be nice, but I can live with that. No need for excitement thanks....
US markets are starting to look like a casino. No way that a lot of the stocks can justify their listing prices, just a lot of hype and wind. We know the consequences of this from history. That combined with the significantly under reported financial troubles in China suggests that a fall is coming. Unfortunately with the intertwined nature of the global stock market, that will have far reaching consequences. If this dog of a share can get to 4.40 I am out of this one, the dividends are nice but the lack of growth, and recovery is poor.
Agreed, lots of investors have lost the will to live. Sitting on a very fat loss myself, can't see a recovery as I don't see anyone on the board who could lead it in to the future. Sad state of affairs, and as for LC... well..
Happy days, good to see this finally doing what I expected it to do a couple of months back. Great news, hopefully onwards and upwards, I can see 1.55 of the back of this. Be interesting to see what the US market makes of this later today.
Got to love a cheery start to the week... This is old news, they were talking about this in the 80's....
Well say goodbye to your money then, as it's the boring circles, and research that helps identify winners in the market.
Sympathies, My average is just over 0.381p and I have 550,000 of these tickets, thank god I also invested in SLP at the same time to offset the losses. Still stings, and like yourself, very little faith that LC will turn this around now. Lessons learnt, it does what it says on the tin... Investment funds and risk spreading is the way forwards, it's safe and boring, but better than getting shafted....
God it's lonely on this board. Pleased to see the price rise here, suspect it will top out at around £21.50 - £22.00 just before the summer break, some good news from the CFO recently, so a lot of positives, and the dividend is still a good payout....
