Thanks for the message
Interesting status regarding India
Perhaps "Indian Politics" got involved, it would only require one Indian company to have a "2 gene" test available, to put pressure on the Indian Health care Authority"
Be useful to have a better understanding of India
Any good leads available? Did India require "2 gene" test kits?
Your Posting "ShaunP sorry here's the correct link a non Rns by primerdesign as I see it
Oh and faux outrage I was 13 and jumping into Buckie harbour in the heatwave of 76"
Sorry, still not able to find any link to any figures,
Personally, I don't think they could be significant
Ps the dream-
Re you being the Head of Rhino Section, I guessed you were born in 1963, however this would make you too young for the tale! hence the need to replace digit "6" with a "5", a simple error by an accountant.
Your Link Ttps://novacytinsider.com/germany-to-place-significant-winterplex-order/
Thanks very much for the link, this is again very significant news for Novacyt
We know that Germany is the most important market after the UK
See RNS dated 2nd June
Important wording "Novacyt is now selling its COVID-19 test into more than 130 countries, with the top two countries being the UK and Germany. Novacyt is also pleased with the progress it is making in the US market and expects to update the market in due course."
In my analysis Spreadsheet , Germany is mentioned 17 times!
On vaccination this December do you think funds will be redirect to this and away from testing? Will the roll out of a vacine impact the sp here? Any thoughts?
Which type of funds do you mean, a) Government spending or b) Investment Funds
a) Government spending
No, the Government is still ramping up PCR testing, with 2 large centres being built for opening in December
b) Investment Funds
Again, No - current share valuation is based on "cash" that is very likely to be coming into the business to 31st December 21.
Therefore share price is unlikely to reduce, but it could "rise" due to winning further contracts, the Care home business could be very big. There are also other "R & D" projects, which could help the price, eg pathflow for Covid-19
Please note, that this is my personal opinion
Good morning fellow contributors
Thanks for the reminder that the clock's went back!
I have uploaded the 1st draft worksheet for the Lighthouse labs, it seems we will have 10 working labs by Christmas
However it would be useful to have further information for the research file
eg, how many PCR lines for each lab
Which kits are being used?
Any other smaller, but important labs, eg like Birmingham University
The draft can be found at https://filebin.net/obbxid0slw185sl0
bottom file on the list
Figures seem to increase weekly and stand at 191081 as of 16th October. That compares to 136162 as of 18th Sept.
Where are these numbers coming from?
Do you have the URL address
Your Comment "..if new technology will supersede PCR and lead to a drop in the sp...I wouldnt spend too much time worrying.
Heres the Australian view."
Thanks for the link, again a very good unbiased article, worthy of a read from forum members
It may help to maintain your "blood pressures" at the correct levels!
The article has been has been added to the research spreadsheet
Your posting "This to me is the company confirming they are selling in India.
Thanks for the link
Unable to find a connection to India with Novacyt?
I thought we had some very early business in India
However, did India request a 2 gene test policy during the summer?
Primerdesign now might have problems in breaking into the Indian market due to their late entry of the 2 gene test
Any further info available on my rough knowledge?
Your Comment "On linkedin, AZN announced increase in capacity of 10,000 tests - both Chartwell and GM gave the post a hearty thumbs up."
Thanks for your post, again "very important" news for this forum, as you just confirmed that "Chartwell Consultants" are still (likely to be) providing support to Graham and his growing team.
Keep the posts coming please, as it would help Sharehunter3 on Monday morning, as he could take a more "relaxed posture"!
Your Posting "Looks like Charles River are busy recruiting to set up a night shift at the Cambridge testing lab"
Again, very good information, it is posts like these than will "interest" current & potential investors, and thus improve the share price.
Very good news, I have added the link, as it could be worth monitoring. If they adding the night shift, then staff retention for the existing 2 shifts have not been a problem. With Cambridge having a number of medical students etc, compared to say Milton Keynes, it is probably better placed to be a "Mega Lighthouse".
Reconciling back to my my Sales forecast for the Covid-HT, I had an estimate of 3 million for October, a major increase from September of 1 million.
Is 3 Million for October realistic, one may ask?
The hint from yesterday's tweet indicates that our new "Alderley Rhino" requires a feed of 10,000 per day
10k *30 days = 300,000 , but that may be a single new line (or change from another kit supplier)
With the "Cambridge Rhino" having 9 super lines the figures could be
9 X 10K *30 days = 2,700,000
That is very odd as it equals the 3 million as per my forecast dated 21st October
Can anybody confirm whether my maths above are correct and whether the test through-puts for these centres are reasonable?
A few contributors on this forum may have been having a few sleepless nights recently, due to the current excitement regarding Novacyt. You are not alone, in fact last night I had a very unusual dream, which was connected to an important message, the dream concerned today and my past. So what past time did my dream cover.
It was summer of 1976, a beautiful hot and dry summer, I had just completed my studies in South Yorkshire, where Ladybower reservoir was nearly empty. The dream covered just one day, when I was on duty as "Lion 4" in the local Safari Park, and involved the General Manager (radio call sign GM), and the head of Rhinos, a lovely gentleman slightly older but wiser than myself, his name was "Wilson", with his radio call sign of Rhino 1, as very often there were two rangers patrolling the Rhino Section. Wilson was a good friend, and unlike most of us wearing khaki coloured shirts, his shirt was blue, and because he was head of Rhinos, had a emblem of a rhino on his shoulder. Most of the rangers had radios for their and the visitor's safety. It was a specific radio message that was in my dream last night, occurring at exactly 22:40 hours, for I am a early sleeper,
The Message was as follows "This is GM calling Rhino1, come in please; slight delay; Rhino1, here, listening to you loud & clear; GM ; I have some good news for you, your section will be having a new Rhino, named "Alderley", she will join your current Rhino "Cambridge", as good measure I be will increasing your Rhino feed by 10,000 calories per day: Rhino1: Thank you sir, that is very good news". What is so important about this message, as it was sent 44 years ago; but then was a similar message sent yesterday evening at 22:40pm?

Your Comment "Regarding OpenCell container lab in Jersey I found this:
it's from July but they indicate that another lab has been solf to Pakistan and on for an undisclosed
location in the UK.
I imagine that since July many other labs have been delivered to new locations.
I have added the link to the spreadsheet
Regarding their other containers, we can't be sure, whether they are using Novacyt test kits, suspect some are, but other not!
However it is interesting to note that Open Cell is expanding
A good destiny would be the Philippines, with large number of islands - ideal location for Open Cell containers
Your Message Ah right thanks Shaun, the https://www.itisint.com, I thought should be on page 29 with the rest of the IT-IS stuff.
But at least it has made it into the spreadsheet."
I agree , just added to that page
That provides another question, what did IT-IS Life Science Ltd. (Dublin) do?
Was it perhaps just a sales office? but why Dublin?
Your Posting "Hi Shaun, do you have this one listed on the spreadsheet from The Portman Pharmacy? They're based at Barbican, London https://www.portmansonline.com/coronavirus-test-covid-19.html
That's brilliant, including Jersey Airport, that makes 3 private businesses!
We need more, otherwise Graham won't be able to afford his new "Territory Account Managers"!
On 21st October the following tweet was added by Primerdesign
genesig Real-Time PCR COVID-19
Our CE kits come combined with Oasig™ Lyophillised Master Mix providing a complete one kit diagnostic system.
Does that mean no further re-agents are required?
Anybody with PCR testing experience on this forum?
Your Posting "This came up on the bb a while back: https://www.pharmacymayfair.co.uk/pages/covid-test
Do you think the following IT-IS web address should be in the spreadsheet, - its displaying R&D info:
Just created a new worksheet with the link, so that we can added further private contractors who are using Novacyt test equipment
That's a brilliant find
ps Every new "Contractor" we add to this worksheet, may add a extra add 0.00001% to our share value!
Therefore we need plenty of new additions!
It is on the spreadsheet, but hidden under Social media
If you did a search within the PDF file, you will find it on page 19!
Perhaps I should put it in a better place?
Your part post "ShaunP your question about private contracts is a really interesting one and I am poking some contacts in senior positions at large firms to see what is in place or planned for their staff."
That would provide some excellent insight to the private company testing arena
We know that Yourgene are carrying out "Private Company" tests and/ or at "Private healthcare Centres"
Therefore Novacyt must be getting in Non NHS / PHE sources of revenue
If not, why are they recruiting "Territory Account Managers" for areas including Maidenhead, Sunderland, Newcastle, Scotland & Ireland. Nature of the job name, " I am looking for new customers, & retaining existing". Existing may be a few NHS hospitals in their area, but at a cost of £50K per annum, I would be expecting many new private businesses!
Tony Dyer, perhaps a new schedule is required within the monthly management accountants, showing each "Territory Accountant Manager", his revenue sales, direct "costs of sales", his direct costs (salary, travelling cost), thus providing a contribution towards "Admin & sales" costs of the company!
Your Posting "ShaunP - thanks for making the your research notes available. I’ve spent most of this afternoon reading through them thinking how the hell I haven’t taken a closer look at this up to now."
Thank you for your message
Remember that I am just the librarian to the forum, many if not most "important" posts or perhaps ideas come from fellow contributors to this board. The forum is now a "closely knitted bunch", protecting each other from "outside invaders", for some key members we even know their favorite flower!
"Together we are Stronger"
Should you have suggestions for further improvements, please let me know.
Part message " Plenty of news to come and don't forget the P word."
Thank you for your excellent reply, for those who don't know the "P word" is, it is "Persevere"
What other important words come to my mind, you may ask, another one would be "Challenge"
Taking on a personal "Challenge", which is within one's capability! (too , many people in work situations can take on a challenge, which may be too far, resulting in a stressful situation; once I took over a new position, as the incumbent was suffering from stress.) Having challenges (work & non-work) during one's life is very important in my opinion.
Re the testing facilities at Cambridge, it is good that Astra Zeneca, expanded the number of high volume test lines, which I think I heard in late summer. That may mean that the "Cambridge Lighthouse" has not suffered from staff shortages, which have been reported at other Lighthouse centres in general.
The question one raises, what is the daily throughput of Novacyt Covid-HT test kit? which had been developed with the support from AstraZeneca, GSK & University of Cambridge.
I have too, also heard that possibly, Astra Zeneca are involved with some of the other Lighthouse Centres, the reason could be the shortage of kits from other suppliers; therefore some lines could have been converted to take Covid-HT (but a guess).
All very interesting times ahead!
