The RNS shows the current BOD has failed to deliver the investment needed to take this company forward but on the other hand there appears to be some excellent technology developed and a couple of good distributor relationships and some further opportunity in the pipeline. The sale could unleash this albeit under a different guise and I would be surprised if this doesn't become a trade sale, it seems Unicorn has the same thought. I picked up a couple of million shares this morning, upside from here could be good. Downside risk at this price is marginal to my portfolio.

Anyway, my twopenny worth, it looks like a sale of shares that was replaced with a long CFD trade for exactly the same amount. Perhaps someone not allowed to hold shares but can hold a CDF bet. But at the end of the day it's for £9,500 so perhaps we should find something better to do, cut the grass, walk the dog, finish off that replica of The Last Supper!

Personally I think you are right here Mac. I believe Citic are effectively state-controlled and have been lining this up for a while, which is why the relationship needed clarification. I will be very surprised if this doesn't end up in Chinese hands and effectively a state controlled asset.
