Yep, I have just traded this 3 times, sold 100k shares at 28.177 and then bought them back at 20.05. Made £200 each time. Seems a bit daft to me, but then what do I know, I am not a MM! )))

Well, I have just bought some at 28.05p which is really weird as they offered to buy from me at 28.118p! Seems the MM's are out of whack with themselves. Oh dearie me!!

Former Kazakhmys mining giant gets new offer at £3.7bn

The £3 billion bid battle for KAZ Minerals, the Kazakhstan mining group, hotted up today as the chairman trying to buy it upped his offer.

Nova Resources, a holding company owned by the two largest shareholders, chairman Oleg Novachuk and director Vladimir Kim upped their bid from 640p in October to 780p today, valuing the group at £3.7 billion.

Shares in the group had raced far beyond the first offer price as minority investors said it massively undervalued the company. It closed last night at 773p.

So, all they managed to do at current reporting was take out some poor suckers 700 shares. When they saw all that it did was encourage buyers they sha@t themselves and had to raise the price. A&5eholes

Nathdom, very interesting! I have always thought Citic moved from the advisory sell side to the buy side and that we will see them engaged in some capacity as either funding or owning. For those of you who haven't researched Citic, it is worth a look at their structure which as well as the financing includes ownership in various primary resources across the globe. Nothing in our space as yet. Also to note is that Citic is owned by the state.

8ead, if you change the timeframe from a day to a month it becomes a buy, so it just depends on whether you are a trader or an investor. Personally, I am the latter. Yes, I am £500k down from the peak and hindsight would suggest I would have been wise to have traded part of my holding, but we are in an FSP and I wouldn't want to second guess when the hammer may fall. So, here's a LTH who hasn't sold a bean and won't until the FLS's (acronym used to prevent offending any of a woke and delicate disposition)

I see a late reported trade from last night of a 1.9 share buy at 25.263p just reported.

Have you even bothered to read the RNS's, company reports, broker analysis, anything at all? I just don't know what your comments are supposed to demonstrate> is it based on their current cash burn and balance sheet? Come on, explain please, analysis not uninformed speculation.
