Some reflections27 Sep 2025 09:47
I've had a chance to reflect on the presentation.
1) Clearly they didn't have anything concrete to announce and they calculated that it was best to finally hold the investor presentation late than admit that and cancel. The share price probably would have fallen by more if they'd cancelled. Key lesson for Nick, under promise and over deliver, not the other way around!
2) Telling people you've had loads of offers but they've all been crap is not a great line or strategy. Most people would think "are they ever going to get a good offer".
3) I was the one who asked whether the long term strategy for the Bitcoin Treasury was to be a Bitcoin Bank. Nick answered, "we haven't really thought about that, could be". This is not reassuring. How do you not know your long term strategy!
I'm going to set a sell order at 2.49p because I think if it breaks that it'll drop back to around 1.5p or even 1p. I'll still have my warrants. And before anyone accuses me of deramping to buy cheaper shares, I won't be buying anymore. I have too many in my portfolio from a risk perspective already.
