Its been a rough ride but looking forward to this breaking 62.5 and putting me into the green soon. GLA.

Seems really odd that Saga seems to move almost independently of market dynamics! this one is definitely in the realms of hope with fingers crossed rather than logical decision making for me.

Those hoping to do a bit of this have missed the chance I think. That came a month ago. If it goes back to near 200, no sweat, I will just add more. this will only be an issue for those in it for the short term. Frankly I will be jolly surprised if the news is anything but steady with no surprises.

Interesting piece in the FT. I am sure there is a lot of politics involved so lets see what transpires. Feels to me there must be data to suggest the vaccine is likely to be effective or these machinations would not have even begun! Who knows.

I don't think you will see RR down - this level of loss was expected and the market should react positively to this - cost containment is working as it was projected to. My expectation is SP will rise not fall on Monday. The wider slightly negative news sentiment may cause a smaller rise perhaps. IMO

Has to be more nuanced. Staff need to be tested and on board for 14 days when they can be re-tested before passengers come on board. Passengers need to be tested on arrival and isolated at onset of symptoms with an on board track and trace system. At least this way, the company can be reasonably protected against claims.
Hopefully a vaccine at the turn of the year will help further diminish the problem. The company has enough reserve to see through this phase. Keep calm and carry on for now. ATB

As far as I can see - expected amount. Not a surprise as this was the projection so market will be expecting this. Will be surprised if the SP drops. IMO

RR are clearly pressing ahead...

RR are clearing pressing ahead in various spheres with new tech and alliances. Does not feel to me like a business on the ropes fighting for survival. Just need to be patient and sit out the next few months. Once a vaccine is here, this SP will correct significantly.
Deos - sorry to read you have sold at a loss. I don't know your circumstances and perhaps you needed the cash sooner rather than later, but good luck with your other investments.

LtCaptain, good post. Agree with this. Have bought into BP today on the same assumptions. It is a matter of time now. At these levels, I can't see much downside.

Hope this does not get snapped up at bottom rates like AA. Will mean many of us PI's took all the risk for a very small gain. Hope Saga pushes on and come 2021, things will start going back to normal. ATB

Alas_S, good post. Agree vaccine news will arrive sooner than thought. The SP is very low and its very dispiriting but I've bought more today - once this crisis passes, this will fly. Just need to grit teeth and to sit it out. ATB

Don't sell too soon or a loss. This one will recover and quite soon once opening in US happens and then figures of attendance roll in. I understand when its falling rapidly why some may be tempted to sell and buy back lower. That opportunity has passed. Now time to hold and wait. IMO.

LongShotLuke - the oslo bank sold due to a conflict of interest issue - not any other reason if I remember right. Not sure about Aviva but pension funds have rules that lead to automatic sells and perhaps the reduction in price of CINE triggered this. Either way, some are selling, others are buying - the fact is there are fundamentals that have changed in the last few days which make CINE a favourable takeover target. Those looking to 6 bag from here may be dissapointed but 150-200 seems a decent price target short term.
