Yup. This was walked down from 400 to 130 on the RI risk. Company should have sorted this ages ago and done the RI when rumours first surfaced at about 290. They let the shorting mob have a field day knowing RI was coming and could close when announced as there would be a panic sell off. I suspect we are just seeing the closing of a lot of shorts now. How high will this go, who knows. I will take up my full allocation and sit it out for 4-5 years. No rush for me but if you need your money sooner, your game plan will be different.

They can now anyway without risking losing out to other companies. Also, no reason for debt holders to push cine to the wall - they will only get a fraction of their money back. They know if they wait a year or two they will get considerably more returns. Debt covenants will be waived IMO.
So a sale of assets via admin is not going to be in the interests of debt holders. The value is in the company and leases. Netflix probably more than Disney is my bet as Disney are nursing huge losses too so probably have less appetite for a buyout. Cine debt is small for these big companies so will not put them off.

This must now surely be the time netflix or Disney make their move - Cine on the blackfoot. I will be surprised if this does not happen soon. IMO

Mark, seems that way. I was a bit slow to add - only got some at 20. Even this is a gift. Shorts will surely close now and SP drift up to about 30-35 where it will be until we get more news.

Not to shut would have been poor management. Back into hibernation to conserve as much cash in the circumstances is sensible.
Now back to a holding pattern for 4 months. Holders just need to ignore the noise and return in 4 months. Meanwhile if it goes silly low, which I doubt it will, add. Yes, fund raise maybe needed. But 2021 will herald a massive 2-3 year recovery. Don't miss out.

Barry, For what its worth, I have a lot more than you invested although at a lower average price. My intention is to hold and buy my share of RI. I am in for 4-5 years and will take my full allocation of RI. I expect to come out of this ok even if less of a profit that I expected 3 months ago.
Sell now with the hope of buying back cheaper and you really are into Russian roulette territory. Lots of doom and gloom about. Need to keep your head and be patient. News about vaccines and rapid testing will turn sentiment in an instant. AIMO, this in not advice. Just what I am doing. ATB

Krimh, ditto. Will buy more. Reason, the guy who runs it actually has a massive stake and has the most to loose if this goes bust. This was massively profitable pre-covid and will be again - creditors know this, vaccines and treatments round the corner so very different to March, a takeover by Netflix or Disney is very possible - Netflix already considered this before and will be able to see beyond 6 months. Agree not without risk but greater the risk greater the reward. If it goes belly up, well it will be a bummer but my life will not change. ATB

Jayboi, I agree and same here. I am reassured we have a BoD capable of decisive action and have a large amount of flesh in the game. I am expecting a drop and will be hoovering up more cheap shares. If an RI comes, so be it. I am looking to hold for uptown 4-5 years so am pretty comfortable about my hold. Short term my portfolio will look ugly, and its not a nice feeling but I can cope with that. ATB.

Will probably be hoovering up in the 30s so anyone hoping to short, good luck with that.
