Difranco, I agree. However the 5 quid rapid 15 minute test from Roche will be available soon and means people will be able to do both. Can't see countries letting people in without a test before boarding the plane

Yup. Hugely underwater. But have added more. This drop is unwarranted. Will turn soon. Rapid testing at airports now started. No reason why this cannot be used on cruise ships. Costs will drop soon too. I may regret this but if it stays here or lower will keep drip feeding.

Agree with what you say. I do think however the chance of a successful vaccine is pretty high compared to usual. Never before has there been as big an effort by numerous huge pharma companies to crack a vaccine and new technology has allowed new methods. If malariaor TB received the same attention and resources, they would be eradicated too. ATB

Tacet, Doubt this very much. Comparing apples and oranges here. Just because RR was shorted does not mean every other company listed in the FTSE will be. Honestly let's ease off the wild speculation. If BP gets anywhere near that low it will be bought out.

Spank, I agree. These posters have cost a lot of people a lot of money. Trouble is they sound so persuasive and feed off fear. Scammers and the worst of mankind. Pianista, thanks that's useful info. I am already more committed here than I would like but could not see a good reason for the drop so picked up more at 123. Hit buy ay 121 but only managed to buy at 123. This is a ridiculous price for a company that is pretty much financially secure medium term and can ride out the storm of covid. Hopefully I won't regret this.

CheekyDeek, exactly. Anti vaccine people need to have some consideration for the old and infirm who will suffer if we don't achieve her immunity. For this we need over 65% to take the vaccine. Not to do so is selfish and possibly unpatriotic. The vaccines are being tested very well and this constant nonsense about being untested needs to stop. Its just project fear from selfish people IMO. Sorry for the rant, but people with probably no science background spouting off about not taking the vaccine really gets up my hackles.

The UT at 121 is a good sign for next week. Manic action towards the close was a bit odd but at least for those long here, it was in the right direction!

Fair point. Yes, RR is much more than aeronautics and hopefully will emerge from this pandemic less dependent on income from aero.

Casa, I agree with this apart from grim to poor. IMO it's poor to ok. And could improve dramatically with rapid airport testing and vaccine introduction over the next 6 months. Flying hours could be very much higher soon if this happens and this will rerate accordingly. So could go from ok to good quite quickly too.

D91, nope I expect it will keep rising slowly to about 225 by end of play with the odd pull back. Entirely IMO.

Yes you are right. Post RI, expect SP to be between 60 and 70, so your new average will still be above SP at the time. In 3 years however, I agree, you've got nothing to worry about and should have a tidy profit. IMO
