The first round of talks between US and Russian officials in Saudi Arabia have now finished.

Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said the negotiations "went well" with conditions for a meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin being discussed

Talks lasted four-and-a-half hours, with Ushakov saying negotiators have been agreed with the US to discuss the war in Ukraine.

Kirill Dmitriev, the head of Russia's sovereign wealth fund, said the officials treated each other in a respectful manner, but added it was "too early to talk about compromises".

MOSCOW, Feb 18 (Reuters) - The Kremlin said on Tuesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin was serious about negotiating a settlement to end the war in Ukraine as high-level talks began in Saudi Arabia, and that Russia would prefer to achieve all its aims peacefully.

Putin sent Russia's army into Ukraine in 2022. He has repeatedly said he is ready to discuss an end to the war that reflects the reality on the ground, where advancing Russian forces now control nearly a fifth of Ukrainian territory.

Unbelievable so even the awful Riversgold agreement where Oracle give up 80% which is absurd isn’t even going to be completed until end of the year. There’s no boom lol first this agreement is known about however what this RNS shows is the real timeline here with the project not even starting until 2026! So zero money from Northern Zone until production starts with a set up taking time so likely production IF they get a licence to mine (31st December is just over 12 months from application originally so Riversgold clearly expects it to not be granted until then) so you are looking like beginning of Q2 2026 for production start. ORCP has zero cash revenues and can only get money from warrants and placings. You know what is coming next.

This is literally right now an uninvestable company! They also should never have decided to give away 80% and fact that Riversgold wont even lock in an agreement hugely weighted in their favour, speaks volumes in that they are not willing to fully commit to it yet! IMHO DYOR
