Just add little positions if you're scared, but remember - the stock market is where human behaviour and psychology repeat themselves over and over so be prepared to put large bets on when the conditions are right, i.e. NOW.
Before you realise that bad news leads to a quick sell off, which is then followed by a recovery. It happens time and time again with this stock. If it were really a bad investment idea, the stock would've continued its descent from the beginning of the labour conditions story last year. It has since rallied, sold off, rallied, sold off. It's called a volatile stock. Don't invest in it if you're scared. Stick to a Vanguard ETF if you want comfort.

The sentiment to this stock has clearly changed. Long gone are the days of 2020 where bad news could send this sub 300. Investors clearly value the company's future. This is not a stock for fearful and panicky investors, mind.
This is "risky" without the "risk". Clearly the sentiment towards the stock's future has changed. Where are the days of sub 300? It's not happening because Boo has formed a strong base and support around 310-320. We have tested that support today with 'scary BS news' and investors are refusing to let it fall. This is clearly a buying OP. Buy now, thank me later this week.
It doesn't necessarily matter if the money is paid today, next year, or in two years' time. The order contracts have been signed and that puts AZN in a fantastic position, financially leveraging off of those orders if need be.
Saying that their vaccine works against the new variant? Well all we need is approval as the orders have already been placed. AZN vaccine will no doubt offer protection against the new variant and future variants, it's only a slight mutation.
It has hit 290 in previous weeks with similar news expected so I'd expect 290 to be an area where it could bounce. The implications of brexit aren't going to be huge on the market as it has had since 2016 to soak it all up. Now there is always going to be some noise, let's not kid ourselves, but this is nowhere near going back to the lows of COVID or the Times scandal. This is a stronger stock now and to be honest, it is slow progress but it is holding and showing stability and accumulation. This will absolutely fly when the conditions are right. Just be patient guys.
Always have a buffer when spread betting - 25% of your entire account should be enough. It is not like share dealing where you can invest everything in your account and only pay commission charges. Spread betting is a better way of doing things for short to mid term, but you need to know how it works before using it as a trading vehicle.
Switch from share dealing to spread betting. You just need to remember to have enough money left in the spread betting account to act as a buffer should your stock drop 15-20% unexpectedly. In other words, don't max out and use all your money at once, leave 25% or so of your account value as a buffer and you can continue investing in the same way as before. You get charged a very small daily fee for the margin (fraction of a percentage) but over a few weeks-a month this isn't usually more than commission when buying and selling stocks.
Anyone who has a bearish or neutral outlook is quite frankly not paying attention to the charts. Fundamentals strong, sentiment of customers strong and growing (by millions every year), sentiment of investors moderate-good and growing. What on earth is there that would encourage you to sell right now? It's a buy all day long. Amazing trajectory of chart.
Looks like todays was a clear VWAP line that held, not support. Lots of big players needed to exit today, so algos took the lead.
