In the same place as shareholders of any company. We wait for news from directors. We don't control the company, there's nothing else to do.

No news is or ever was, expected in January. The statement was the precise equivalent of Usain Bolt saying in a pre-Olympics press conference "I want to run a 9.5 second time".

We are dependent on the actions of third parties which means that whatever you hear or thoughts you heard, it was never a deadline because it couldn't be.

The bed and ISA spread shown (if it is a bed and ISA or "rollover") is not a fee. Regulations state that such a trade must be placed on the open market (the LSE) and, while the same broker may end up taking both sides of the trade (as is probable here in such an illiquid market), it isn't a "both sides trade" where the trade is internal to the broker since this would be in breach of the regulations. The reason it's sold as a "rollover" or "bed and ISA" is because the two trades are automated and so can take place faster than usual (for blue chip shares almost instantly), not because they are internal trades.

Even dummy trades won't give a clear indication of price/spread unless they're very small - in which case you can get a fixed price. Proper/larger trades find a price after placement only.

Should I? With Quadrise, there are only two share prices; "low" and "high". Right now, in the absence of commercial news, we're "low'. Whether that's 2p or 4p is irrelevant unless you're a short term reader looking to sell out at 3.5p or unle#s the company needs to raise more money. The only important thing for long term holders here is good commercial progress news from the company. The share price then, will take care of itself.

But clarified in the Q&A, after, to one in Q1. It'd be nice to pick and choose which information you want to rely on and just ignore the rest.

Yep, he spoke about his personal aims, one item for end Jan, one for end Q1 and importantly NO deadlines, no matter what HF wishes he said. But we just need to be patient and wait for another secret garden party with the board to get the real info.

It's critical to remember:

*There is no January deadline in any sense*

The CEO expressed January as his personal aim to show significant progress with MSC/Cargill. Listen to exactly what he said again, and in response to what question.

There is no explicit or implied deadline.

I wish there were - it would mean Quadrise has more control over the process than they do.

Anyone who believes there's a deadline for January is setting themselves up for unnecessary disappointment - this has happened every year, it would be nice to avoid it this time, though I don't have much help. I hope to have MSC sewn up by Q1 and I think it's a reasonable hope but a hope is all it is. My confidence in undiminished despite this.

Lol I don't know anyone who believes there's some sort of end-of-month deadline here. Nothing is expected to happen in January. Q1, maybe.

Quadrise, as we're frequently reminded, has a long history - but one thing we can learn from it is that they've never once done anything dodgy, allowed leaks, passed on insider information or anything of the sort. So trust official releases. And assume everything else - from new directors to Top Secret garden parties - are bald faced lies.

Yorkie, it's just another one of his logins here. No actual owner of shares in a company believes the company will fail - it's illogical.
