DTA works for me. My share holding account is in HSBC, but I submitted the form directly to LINK only last year. Now I am sure that 20% is a sort of scam. All previous years HSBC deducted 20% even though I informed the bank about reduced rate for UK - 10%. Investigation required.

I also prefer focus on dividends over buybacks. Otherwise there will be temptation to sell shares when price moves around 28p. Then regret when SP stabilizes in the range 32-35. Currently almost comfortable situation. The only problem is frequency of dividend payment which has already been under consideration at executive committee.

Struggling to find correlation between ZAR/USD and PAF price. I suggest lower rate should be beneficial for PAF. Can anybody confirm it?

So far the market has not reacted on acquisition of 8000 hectares. Strange, considering Matt Caulson made statement on 1st December. Although planted in 2017-2019, group production should increase already in 2024.

Regarding frequency of dividend payment. Hethen Hira promised to bring this to the executive committee during first meeting in January. Considering balance sheet strengthens there is high chance for that to be revised.

Mulder, here not everybody interested in high price. At least in short terms. The lower the price - the more shares can be added. I planned to add at 16.5 today. Considering gold drifting down second day, behavior of PAF price was quite predictable. See my post on 27 Dec 2023 18:41.

I also prefer dividends. But at least 2 times a year. Better quarterly. I will ask Hethen Hira to include this question to next AGM. Otherwise 15% SP drop on ex-divi day.

There is still open short position. It’s fuel for bullish market. Just think what the balls they have…

PAF hardly changed price since 14th December when gold traded at 1980$/oz. Seems algos programmed to drop the SP but cannot due to rising gold. If it's true, tomorrow gold sliding from 2080 down to 2060 will drop PAF by 3-4%.

Mulder, do you mean production 215koz or POG = 2100$/oz?

In any case, annual report based on average POG=1863$/oz. Even without Mintails, EPS should reach 3.52 - 3.81 GBx respectively to 178 - 190 koz production in 2024. If gold keeps 2000$/oz and production according plan, EPS will be 34% - 48% higher than this year.

No correlation between SP and price of gold. Otherwise SP would be around 27-28. I purchased PAF when SP was 23.6 and POG=1850 and gold production 175 koz. Now expecting a sort of eruption. More likely after holidays when investors have time to analyse and revise algos.

With such price of gold, PAF revenue will be 159M instead of 140M forecast in H1 2024.

Is any idea what drives the price of CVSG?

Gold has been trading over 2000$/oz almost one month. Not bad.
