Stefan Bernstein explains how the EU/Greenland critical raw materials partnership benefits GreenRoc. Watch the full video here.
Forgive my moment of gloating.
But want to share a feel good RR success.
Been in RR since IPO in 1987 with fairly modest amount.
Bought in big time (for me) in 2020.
Went all in with the RI in 2020, and have an average of 93.8p.
Just top sliced 20% of holding at £4.26, to help daughter on property ladder, in a ridiculously expensive town.
So, thanks Turbo and RR.
WoW is fully correct.
Items held in an ISA are tax free.
That includes a tax loss free.
You can't have your cake and eat it!!
You gain the advantage with tax free profit, and suffer the dis-advantage with tax free loss.
Spot on Grezz.
I've been here since day 1. After a reasonable early 20% uplift, it's been downhill every week since then.
shambles. What are they doing, aside of taking their salaries.
Hi accipiter, apologies for slow response. Not that you were expecting one.
I think the whole set up has arrogance. Roger may have the financial muscle, but i'm not sure he's sufficiently 'on the ball' when it comes to board decisions.
I used to have Saga as a client, selling them holiday destinations, and whilst they could be hard nosed, they were very arrogant. That was way back, before the IPO. Nothing has changed.
Appreciate your support, but it is a very modest IPO holding, fortunately.
How can a company lash up so badly, with such a growing and ready customer base.
Too many, and changing, chiefs, is a part of the reason.
Yep, no worries Paul.
I was on your wavelength.
Keep up your good rebuttal posts.
AML has some light at the end of a very long tunnel.
I thought a wind tunnel was to test upcoming F1 cars. Not a tunnel full of wind.
Hi Paul,
Maybe. But who won the race, again!!
And much like holding shares, it's all about winning.
Long old race here with AML.
I've had a holding since before Mr. Stroll appeared. Then i bigged up the holding with his arrival.
Yes, i have the patience of a saint.
Thanks for your regular rebuff of 'you know who'. Keep it up.
Poor old Lance.
Or Glance as he is now known, following his light scrape with the wall!!
Then he had to stroll back to the pits.
I bet Dad wasn't happy!!
Classic bit of commentary from his race engineer as poor old Glance sat with a busted front wheel. 'Can you drive it back to the pits!!'
Say no more!!
Nice one accipter.
I like your wit... And agree.
Likely they would win every category.
Yes, i'm a holder too.
Still got a very small holding from the IPO. Only 95% down!!!
How can any company make such a lash up, when dealing with a growing, eager and tolerant customer base.
What a shambles.
Half year results, so bad.....
They had to say them twice!!
Plus, as presentation revealed. We can already see, the content of tonight's pep talk from shaun.
Sadly, nothing to be learnt from tonight, so i'm going to save the train fare.
Well said bandit1.
I totally agree.
I don't think there will be a big reveal. SD is merely stopping off here, en-route home from the states.
Folks should calm down on here, some are like kids entering the sweetie shop.
All will occur, when it is good and ready.
Totally concur Mike SO2 and DTR1.
This is something that TUI wish to do, and therefore it will be at their direct cost. (although indirectly it will be at ours!!).
We'll just wake up one morning and have our shares designated in Euro's not sterling. Your broker will convert back to sterling, so your portfolio will still show the value in sterling.
It's really nothing to worry about.
The only direct effect upon us, is the potential for a minor currency conversion charge when trading. This will, of course, be shown when you get your trading quote, and before you 'press the button' to trade.
totally agree with last 2 posts.
well said, sirs. or maybe ladies. but, i think sirs.
there is a heavy bias on here, sine most own shares.
be a few tears on 22nd, if £3.50 not achieved.
the market is a very fickle, unpredictable beast. far more veracious than a little ***** cat.
i do hope the majority on here are correct, and we see a nice up on thursday, followed by further progress through 2024.
i say that for 2 reasons.
i). i hold shares here.
ii). i couldn't cope with all the outpouring on here, if it is static, or god forbid drops!!
Agree use someone reputable.
I find LSE (the folks behind this chat board) as basic but efficient.
AJ Bell are ok too, bit flashy but cover off the basics and they are reducing their charges in April.
That will put pressure on a reduction from other brokers, too.
Love it.
In a dry and boring report, Murray brightens it up with some humour.
It was a bit naughty, but no doubt true.
Did you notice, in his first sentence on his very brief commentary on the results, he refers to Looney the previous chief exec, and says.........
'Looking back, 2023 was a year of strong operational performance with real momentum in delivery right across the business'.
He just missed out the final word, which was girls.!!
