It seems to me they have already jumped in, it’s just a matter of one foot or both feet. From the RNS:

“Arc Minerals ("Arc") announces that it has received a formal notice from Anglo Exploration Zambia Ltd ("Anglo American") dated 6 January 2021 that, following due diligence, it is sufficiently satisfied to give notice to conduct negotiations in respect of a commercial transaction prior to the expiry of the extended exclusivity period of 180 days, commencing in January 2021.”

Lots of warrants have been taken up recently for less than half the current share price. Maybe someone looking to quickly double their money and move on.

I very much doubt NvS would agree to a buyout at twice the current share price, that would be giving the assets away for virtually nothing. Remember if the offer isn’t good value we can self fund further exploration this year to hopefully locate the orebody. Should we find that then all bets are off!

It’s noticeable that all the investors who have been around for a while and know this company well are predicting a rise and all the Johnny come lately types are predicting a fall... I wonder why that is.... :-)

One interesting point that I picked up from reading David Wood’s SEG paper:

“ The geochemical data were collected at a spacing of 300 × 300 m. Down-sampling of the data demonstrates that the patterns in the data that are indicative of mineral-ization processes would still be very obvious even at a sample spacing of 1 × 1 km. Indeed, a deposit the size of Sentinel still shows up very clearly on this sample spacing. A 1- × 1-km survey over the same area would have cost less than $100,000. It is better to de?ne the footprint of the system and then look for the orebody within that footprint.”

We could quickly map out a lot of ground relatively cheaply in this way if we were to go down the route you suggested.

Arc wishes to inform shareholders that in light of a media report about a bogus debt claim made against Zamsort Limited ("Zamsort") relating to a $5.8m capital raise by Zamsort in 2015 (prior to Arc becoming a shareholder), it notes that the case is without any merit and is not expected to proceed following the withdrawal today of a key plaintiff. Zamsort is additionally launching an immediate action in the High Court of Zambia to dismiss the bogus claim as fictitious.

Of course it may have been completed by now but I haven’t seen anything confirming that.

Sentinel produced over $2.2 billion worth of copper last year.... I think we deserve a lot more than 25p :-)

First Quantum Minerals paid $260m (cash+shares deal) for Sentinel plus Enterprise in 2010 when the copper price per pound was approximately $3.50. We POTENTIALLY have several Sentinels but of course they have not been proved up as yet.

Looks like word is getting out... we are on the march again. Onward and upward!
