Yesterday Canon cameras announced a new model, the EOS R3, which will feature the ability to control the focus point using eye tracking through the viewfinder. Wouldn’t it be nice if SEE could get a piece of that action! I’m not suggesting SEE are involved (this was first done by Canon in the 90’s but was dropped because it didn’t work that well) but it’s another potential use for the technology.

Ella that was my reading of it, what has been discovered so far is just the tip of the iceberg, or should I say, tips of the icebergs!

Looking at the previous survey by Xcalibur Airbourne Geophysics, it took about 2 weeks to complete. This time around it would be a more focused but denser survey grid so I would imagine a similar kind of timeframe to complete. Hopefully they have an aircraft available to start ASAP. I think there will be an RNS released to inform the market when the survey starts as that’s what happened last time.

I would imagine they would want to complete and analyse the airborne geophysical data before choosing drilling targets otherwise why bother doing it?

There’s no guarantee that they will be made mandatory but assuming the 21st Centuary Smart Cars Act makes it into law then there will be a requirement to establish standards within 2 years of the Act being passed and those standards will be a legal requirement within 4 years.

I haven’t been able to find any records that this has been discussed in the Senate yet but it only took a few weeks to pass in the House of Representatives so hopefully it will get through relatively quickly.

I’m inclined to take Nick at face value when he said:

Meaning that the planned exploration is not being done for the benefit of AA but for the benefit of ARCM. If AA had requested more drilling would we not have put that in the RNS? I don’t see any reason to intentionally mislead the shareholders. I think Nick (probably on advice from Rothschild & Co) is putting the pressure on to get the best deal. If that is the case then it could be announced at any time. All just my opinion of course.

So long as they wait until my shares have been transferred into my ISA before they announce anything that would be great!

Yes I was wondering the same thing Ella, it would certainly protect the prize assets if they could remove them from Zamsort ownership but I have no idea as to the legality of that. It gives us something new to speculate about anyway!

The plot thickens... the remaining part of the Zamsort license area which was split with Afrimin has changed name to Handa Resources Ltd.... maybe related to Handa Mining? It feels like we are getting close to the endgame now.... whatever that is!

With the “Moving Forward Act’ having passed from the from House of Representatives to the Senate for approval, and with the Democrats in control of the Senate, it seems only a matter of time before DMS is mandated in the USA too. At that point its out of Tesla’s hands... if they want to sell cars at all they will need to have a functional DMS in place.

HI Ella, yes I realise you were talking about the Kalaba area, I was just interested to find out who was behind the other application. I wasn’t too surprised to find it was also Mushinge.

The LEL 28787 application in the name of ‘Central Africa Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd’, which covers a small part of the Afrimin area, is another of Mushinge’s companies. Seems speculative at best as it covers three different active licenses!

The last corporate presentation has Muswema as the highest priority target so I guess AA are keen to see that one.
