In May it was announced that Toyota has appointed ZF as tier 1 to develop an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for use in multiple vehicle platforms starting “in the next few years,” using Mobileye’s EyeQ4 processor.

At CES in 2020 it was announced that Denso and Qualcomm are to work together to develop next generation ****pit systems, possibly using Qualcomm’s fourth generation ****pit applications processor. Architecturally this would again look similar to BMW’s iDrive 8, combining both Mobileye and Qualcomm processors for ADAS and infotainment functions.

Considering the established relationship between Qualcomm and Seeing Machines, my assessment is that Toyota is most likely to partner with Seeing Machines to supply the DMS. This assumption is speculative, but we are likely to know more in the coming months.

So we are working with number one and two in the sims market, outstanding.

Flight Safety International are number 3 and have a well known owner, I wonder if he is ringing Paul Mc.....

This one intrigues me

I wonder if its linked to legislation. So in a few years you have to have DMS in new cars but you can happily kill yourself and others in an old car. So they legislate that very car on the road must have DMS as a retro or factory fitted. Easier to police than trying to catch people looking at their phones, they can check your car has a DMS dock as part of your MOT, if it doesn't its not road worthy.

If we are the best and Paul has stated "no competition" why would we agree to a license deal, what's in it for us, apart from enough cash upfront to turn us profit making in one deal

So based on a Census (2019)

Civil is 1,351 units, over 1k of which are CAE or L3

Military is 2,800, again over 1k are CAE or L3

Then we have the new sims each year which would be hundreds

The imported thing we know is our tech can be retrofitted, Pat confirmed that in the Q&A at CMD 2019

What pains me the most is the standard of deramping has really dropped, seems they have given up and don't even try anymore

OK, I know we are signed up with Qualcomm so no deramping has any impact but come on picking the all time high and moaning the sp is lower that made me laugh.

I am a poorly educated, working class, simple man, I have bought steadily for the best part of 8 years, never bought at 1.7p or 13.35p but my average is below 4p.

I expect a lot of LTH have an average around the 3-5p mark.

Phil, nothing too worry about in my view, he joined when the company was at a certain stage 3 years later its a very different company and its natural for some people to move on.

No need for an RNS as its not a board role, on linkedin he seems happy with 300% rise in shareholder value, best to leave the premium team to deliver the next 1,000% increase.

I have been here a longtime and the team has never been stronger, no need to believe me Tim Edwards has been here a lot longer and he seemed very impressed with the team when we spoke at right CMD in London

G, its the opposite to 'not working with' I know as a shareholder which I would prefer.

The news today takes away the mights and maybes, so we have GM (number one in USA) Ford and FCA, we get plaudits for how our tech enables the Super and Blue Cruises, but we aren't in all cars they produce. Between those 3 alone they produce in the region of 7.5m cars per annum forever ever ever.

In our recent 6 months results we had around 31,000 units sold, in 4 years time just in USA just for the 3 OEM we know about the 6 month number is ballpark 100x the last 6 months.

Is it major manufacturers in US or major OEM with US parent

I think its the former as mandate applies to all cars, so VW, Toyota, Honda, Subaru etc

I like it a lot. The huge US market is moving to mandate our tech, companies dream about days like today. Find me another company with our market cap whose tech is being mandated as a standard feature?

I expect for the big boys this is more significant than any one design win would be.
