10) Billion dollar pipeline of won Auto contracts

Believe and it will happen.......

19 thru to 21

19) year end trading update

Very positive trading update on 3rd Aug, over and above even the expectations of the most positive PI's, no one dreamed about A$900m of RFQ opportunity and the fact that we have 16 Tier Ones offering our tech

20) Toyota Design win

imo Toyota is part of the A$900m, we have stated in presentations of a relationship with Renesas and Denso, both of whom have very strong links with Toyota

21) Numerous TR1 for US II

We had an RNS for Toranado, and whilst Richard G is not an American fund its a very positive year for II increasing holdings

So clearly Toyota is the big one on this list but the year end trading really outperformed with the A$900m so I am giving 75% for this 3

16 thru to 18

16) Geely design win

No info on this one

17) Texas Instruments license deal

Another opportunity to come

18) CAE license deal

Obvious progress with CAE but no license deal yet

So to be fair its a zero for these 3, but lots going on I am sure

11 thru to 15, some opportunities in this list, but we still have time

11) Design Win for European OEM (Audi rumour)

In my view VW Group will be a QC win, perhaps the first we announce and what a day that will be

12) Design win with major Japanese OEM (rumour Honda)

Jane Fonda was 25 when we first started talking about this OEM, the first Japanese design win in my opinion and part of the recently announced A$900m

13) Aviation win with plane manufacturer

Aviation will be flying soon enough

14) Volvo design win

I still believe Mr Safestocks was correct on this one

15) JLR design win

Sadly SEYE never got this design win to SoP, its so old now it would taste like rotten fish. If they get their act together they might go with the best

So on announced achievements this one is 0%, but when we get VW and Jane Fonda the wait will be forgotten

Now I will look at 6 thru to 10.

6) Supercruise expansion RNS

17th June we had 3 new GM models announced

7) Ford expansion RNS

Our old friend Henry again, so we haven't had a Ford extension announced and the original Ford June 18 RNS of A$50m+ remains our largest win to date. Bluecruise is however in Ford F150 (our original RNS in my humble opinion). Mach-E, F150 Lightening, so it has been extended but the RNS said A$50m+ we just need to tell the market the value of the +.

8) Qualcomm RNS with $$

Now we haven't had an RNS with $$, but big wow in Jan 2021 when QC named us as a key part of SnapdragonRide and Snapdragon4, now we don't need an abacus and 2 decimal places too know this is a huge deal for us

9) 2nd Semiconductor MOU RNS

This hasn't come yet, but strong links with Renesas as they were named on a slide deck presented by Dr Mike and Kevin T

10) CAE license deal MOU

No win deal but we have announced a win with CAE for military sims, auto qualification is hard, Aviation is harder and Military Aviation is harder still

A few RNS in this 5 would be nice to confirm things but the progress on each one is very promising, 80% is my view

Lets look at the first 5

1) Trading update for 6 months to 31st Dec 2020

Positive trading update issued on 1st Feb. Revenue up 14.6%

2) Semiconductor company license deal (MOU announced Sept)

6th Jan RNS, license deal announced with Omnivision

3) L3 harris license deal (MOU Oct)

We still await the L3 license deal

4) Ford mach e and F150 confirmation RNS

Some strong hints from Paul but no Ford RNS yet, but how exciting is the Ford deal for us.

5) Merc S Class confirmation RNS

We over achieved on this one announcing on 17th June that we are in S Class and EQS (even Colin B didn't have us in EQS)

So we have 2 achieved, 1 over achieved and Ford whilst not announced is pretty clear. L3 has been a long wait

75% achievement on these 5 is my view

Seeing Machines extends its industry-leading DMS to Occupant Monitoring

Seeing Machines Limited (AIM: SEE, "Seeing Machines" or the "Company"), the advanced computer vision technology company that designs AI-powered operator monitoring systems to improve transport safety, has announced it is formally expanding its leading automotive driver monitoring system (DMS) into an overall vehicle interior/occupant monitoring system (OMS). The expanded offering will be available for automotive production programs starting as early as 2023.

Seeing Machines estimates that its entry into OMS opens an incremental market opportunity, worth up to a total of A$1.5 billion through to 2030, with an estimated incremental revenue opportunity for the Company exceeding A$350 million.

My preference would be an increase in II ownership and US based even better

A Strategic investor coming on board to take a 5-10% stake would be my preference

The Chair has previously stated a 65-35 II to retail mix, so getting more II is a positive imo.

Too much cash would be a nice problem to have

Joker, feel free to post anything "constructive and high quality" as soon as you feel ready, so far you all you have done is agreed with the poster who thinks we only win A$120m of the A$900m, neither of you explaining who wins the other A$780m?

Esc, to be fair to Joker01 they are new to SM, in fact they are new to LSE as their first post ever was when they joined today.

We can't expect them to have prior knowledge, as that would mean they have been here before in as different guise and we know that never happens

Nice Terry, that would fit with OEM 6, which was one of the two OEM (alongside Ford) that Colin B said included Occula NPU

Phil, please point us to where Paul says "they may not be bidding for all the open pipeline", or the A$300m you quote in your original post, as that's not what I heard when I watched the recent video. You are welcome to your own opinion but not your own facts.

"The underlying message is, even if we win at less than our historical run-rate, the RFQ's that we have on the table today multiply our auto business by 2 or 3 times, so the real story here is whats the value of that"

Current auto booked business is in the range of A$200-250m, so 2-3 times is a lot more than A$120m.

What I heard at

Phil the voice of reason, really?

Phil states SM will win A$120m of the A$900m, so who wins the other A$780m?

I would rather listen to industry experts such as Colin Barnden who predicts a 60-65% market share for SM.

Just because the wins haven't been announced yet doesn't mean we won't win them, we have QC and 16 Tier Ones so to suggest A$120m is the "voice of reason" is laughable and pure de-ramping
