The size of the resource is known to be much bigger than what they have on paper. I assume they meant it when talking about the significant interest in January. Deals take time and proving resource as it happens is a good use of their time. Ultimately, they need investment to get to production if the resource is expanded to £1B+ NPV then a good deal would only need to be offtake and initial Capex financing. Ultimately, CMET will want to ensure the best return for their major investors.

Never invest more than you can afford to lose. I have a friend who lost 25k on Aim. It took him years to recover his finances. He gave up amateur investing after that.

They would RNS that info. Hopefully, March is the month of the rocket to the Moon.

I think many of the sellers are rainbow chasing. We've all done it but takes timing etc. I don't think that we'll know until the Rns. No reason for this to fail. Yes, the deal is taking a while but they are probably working with officials on tax breaks and fine details. What do people think? Patience used to be a virtue with investments.

I understand the feelings. CMET had a could bump when the licenses got returned. They also got fresh investment that was welcome I'm sure. This does look like a good investment but a very good deal is critical.

Unlikely to get a reply to such a rude email. We won't know anything until they RNS. The wait is longer than expected but we wait. Doesn't mean that this is a bust. Would you rather wait for the RNS and then invest - that's like trying to catch your plane at 35,000 ft.

We await news, sounds like discussions are still ongoing. Could be March before we hear of a deal. Sounds like lots of people are watching. Could be a catalyst for real economic recovery in Sri Lanka.

Missed the boat here but typical Aim. Massive piling on and then jumping off as it sinks. Until an economic discovery is declared then the SP will remain static. Why would the board offer a discounted placing if they were certain of a major commercial find? I got my fingers burnt here last time.

It's a quiet time, when they announced other prospects - I knew it would take a while. They were clearly pushing for an Xmas deal with possibly more favourable terms than the ones they were getting. They are playing hardball and have possibly seriously considered doing a deal with someone else. All we can hope is the board protect the interests of shareholders (including some friends who bought at 4.2p). Sorry to hear about your job, don't bet your house but I really hope that CMET performs brilliantly in the next couple weeks/months. It could do X10 easily with the right deal. Ultimately, it has the potential to be a 500M+ miner.

I've been in and out of this share for years. The CEO has let us down more than once. Aim is incredible with the pumpers at times. Let's wait to see results, I've lost too much money chasing rainbows over the years.

The last RNS and webinar was like a landmine going off. It's seriously crippled investor confidence. If you invested when the SP was riding high at 50p, you'd be facing significant losses right now. I have never seen such a lazy, incompetent management. They seem destined to sell out for peanuts. This is how big pharma acquire and suppress promising tech that could revolutionise cancer diagnosis and treatment. I'm not naive to the fact that a sicker population requiring more complex and costly treatment is more profitable. Very disappointed, UK business just seems to throw its best IP away and let the profits go elsewhere. Death spiral!
