Hugely undervalued. SP should be a conservative X4 higher at least. Hopefully, with deal sign-off and offtake agreed we will see a big rerate here. I believe that this is the best deal for CMET, the board wouldn't have accepted anything else. The LB deal looked like a cheap buyout by the back door, potentially.

True but CMET does produce updates on progress so far. I assume that the 60 days deadline is more or less intact. Management wouldn't accept a takeout deal for anything less than 50p+. Seriously, they have stated what they think the fair value is. Even that is a gross underestimate given the size of the resource.

The MMs will take care of that. Firm holders will make the share price shoot up faster. We'll do £60M in no time. Some people will sell along the way but no reason for the share price not to go x7. Seen it happen before with far less promising shares. Hold on to your hats and don't sell unless you have to.

Institutions need to be involved here. You can't rely on PIs who need their monies back in 18 months. Drug trials can take 5, 8, 10 years. You need proper financial backing from the big boys. I used to be invested here but sold long before I lost everything. The CEO was naive to think that investment would be forthcoming with the City banks etc. Risk averse culture? Snoop Dog and DB probably didn't help with the credibility!

The final JORC should be an order of magnitude greater than what's currently on paper. A corrupt SL official tried to steal our MLs remember?

CMET will have many of these corporate types on speed dial. I can't imagine it has anything to do with the deal. We are already 5 months late on the original deadline for the JV with LB. Another similar delay would be unexpected and ridiculous.

I see this as a positive sign that they are looking at production and possibly the resource expansion and development. What do people here think?

The conference has City investors but also the consumers of metal products such as automotive OEMs. It's probably deals relating to production.

I would expect that the market will be informed if an extension is required. That has to come next week if not before. Aim rules etc...

Outline terms agreed with Sheffield to contribute funding to support the Project into production in exchange for up to a 50% interest in the Project subject to, inter alia, due diligence over a 60-day period.

The expectation was that Sheffield wouldn't need more than 60 days. I still expect a deal within the next week or so.

Why do quiet? Is that RNS coming? Can't be far away, would have thought market would be more awake.

JV is clearly expected within 60 days from RNS. That's the news I'm waiting for. The FID is the final step to construction but once the JV in place, it's surely a given?

Perhaps the FID is just a formality. It's very common in construction...RNS tomorrow?

FID will be very soon I imagine. Then planning, contracts signed with construction people, 12 months of construction.

We are almost halfway through 2024. I imagine next year is feasible....
