Name one farmout that got Cameroon government sign-off within 3 months. It takes ages - even the oil supermajors are waiting almost a year. That's the process over there - as impossibly slow as it seems. We are connecting the dots - we obviously need approval first or nothing happens.

The rig has also recently been awarded a contract with Addax Petroleum for operations in Cameroon, to commence in late 2025, and it is intended that the rig will drill the NJOM-3 well for Tower before beginning operations with Addax Petroleum.

I despair sometimes, a soft hold is a pencilled in window - nothing more. The 90 days is probably not accurate in this case - distance to drill site is trivial, the rig contract signing will probably happen only days after government sign-off. Yes, its an educated guess - but a Oxbridge-educated one. JA can't say anything at the moment, but a lot will be happening behind the scenes.

JA clearly expected sign-off back in March. It might be a soft rig hold or similar - basically, we are expecting sign-off imminently. It would make sense, these discussions are never disclosed to the market. JA has been explicit about Q3 drilling - he wouldn't have said that unless he was pretty sure that a rig was available.

I had contact with JA last weekend. He said that he hoped to be able to update the market soon. He can't RNS non-news, it has to be newsworthy. Let's hope that these approvals land very soon. That's the 'B of the Band's as they say.

OK Tony - pray tell us, the uninformed investors, what is this truth? And how have you acquired it when no one else has? No insults, just facts please - that's how you make a convincing argument - substance before style.

Admin - that's what we have been told. We are at the point of official sign-off. Any delays seems to be related to backlog or capacity. It's very frustrating - many here want this to mean Cameroon are trying to get rid of JA - but no evidence of this. TRP remain confident of the outcome...that's an official like from TRP.

We are due a material update very soon. The block application is a side note - a nice to have. The main event is Thali and Namibia plus any other African prospects they can find.

It's been a long wait - for many too long. But we appear to be very close. JA expected last month, so we can't be far. We need a big rerate from here just to reach any kind of sensible investment.

I'm a dumb person, hardly - I speak all the time. You're as rude as they come. It's my investment and I can only take JA at his word. You just make stuff up with any care for facts or research. If I'm dumb - you're dumber.

A few here have, reached out to JA this week. What has been shared is interesting. There is no sense of doom, things remain as on track as the last RNS indicated. It will drop when we least expect it.
