Seems like they went for the wrong suitor. How do they get out of this? I guess they need some kind of financing? LB, all is forgiven? Unexpected today.
A ridiculous SP, much lower than it should be even in a conservative market. I was hoping for X3 minimum by now. Only Aim behaves in such an irrational way, no justification for this very low valuation.
They did say that there wouldn't be any further announcement until deal is over the line. They should be some news about the drilling, there is little reason to delay as they own a rig. Greg needs to provide an update on licence applications too. Come on!
The Sheffield investment of 10% at about today's SP gives confidence they they expect CMET to be a valuable company and potential take over target. Greg needs to get the drilling going now.
Are you invested atm? The RNS could land tomorrow? You never know for sure. Greg suggested that drilling was ready to start, there should be news ready on multiple fronts.
Ever the pessimist. I think that legals and approvals take a little while. It's important that CMET update the market as soon as possible. Greg needs to get the drilling going as well. We should have news on the other licenses too - come on CMET!
RNS Monday? I can't imagine it's far. That was the impression given in interviews. Looking forward to updates on the drilling campaign, that should get things moving...
I assume the board would not have accepted an inferior deal. I never said that I knew the content of the current deal but the speculation on this board isn't helpful. There are a small number of people who often post negatively and that is not fair when we haven't even seen the deal yet. Are you suggesting that the BOD are making decisions that are contrary to the interests of shareholders? The deal will ultimately have to be signed off by CMET shareholders.
I couldn't disagree more. What do you want, a blow by blow commentary. This is Aim, the LB deal wasn't great. The board thought that Bruce and SR would be a better fit. Nothing opaque about that.
The passage in the RNS suggests that we await some sign-offs. It doesn't say anything more than that. The drilling campaign update could come tomorrow. Once that gets going then sentiment will surely change as CMET will be sending a strong signal that 'it's on'.
Dumpers trying to manipulate the SP. I should have sold and bought back in but it's impossible to time these things! Shame on the folks posting rubbish to get a cheaper buy - you can't make it up!
We have some people on this board who say one thing and do the other. Can't be many investors here who could drop 1.6M shares in one go. It's SP manipulation plain and simple. He/She is going to regret that when the SP is 3 times higher.
This share is well below its NPV. Undervalued is a massive understatement. There are risks with any investment but the negativity on this board sometimes is verging on ridiculous. The quality of the interviews? By the standards of AIM, the interviews were fine. He could have said more in an RNS but chose not to. All views are welcome but let's not lose sight of how far we've come in a year.
Purely based on some mining stocks I have seen. I don't know the consensus view on this board. As I've been holding for years and almost lost the will to live at one point. I'll give you another example, Renishaw plc -a leading British engineering firm- has a P/E of 30. I don't claim to work for Renishaw of course. Why aren't we at least back at the high tide mark (88p?) of last year is what I'm asking.
