I decided to take my stake out of here after the SOA RNS as thought there would be sod all movement until hearing/vote
Sold at 8.5p but put some it into CRTM at 8,7 which is now 16+ and has also been 18.5 lol and the rest into EUA
The plan was to try and make a few quid and buy back but I don't want to sell what I have BUT i've got some funds coming in the next week or so and if this is around where it is now I'm feeling VERY tempted, especially after the judgment last week. In fact I did did sell on 10k worth of shares to buy back the day after the news but it started heading south so I cancelled (thank god as I would f bought at 18)
When this comes off you'll be minted fella and it's all tax free for you :)

Just pleased we took our stake out before suspension although it would of been a great trade if it had stayed 130% up :(

Personally I think Amigo will go up tomorrow as I'd say people will be sticking this into ISA's

Although this is Amigo so who the beep knows ?

I actually thought some of things you've said made some sense but comparing the Money Shop to Amigo is either stupid or straight up deramp to buy in lower
Money shop had 600 high street stores with 600 rents/rates and staff of around 1800 and was struggling before claims. Small loans at 3000% which it had to pay 700k back to customers 2014 due to breaking FCA rules
I actually think turnover between the two was comparable
How can you compare the two companies and expect to be taken seriously ?

I wouldn't worry about drop today if holding LT
EUA already massively undervalued and over 8% down today as well
I'm assuming drops are due to several if not all the reasons already posted
Taking losses to off set bottom line, taking profits to maximise bottom line, boredom as no news due etc etc
Will Amigo drop more ? maybe but ultimately I see it getting through this. maybe with higher % payout but will that matter ? not really as the market still get to see bottom line profits eve if they are using it to pay out the scrots.
And remember % out of profits comes after all the important costs you need to make a business thrive

I'm actually nervous like a kid before xmas
If Russell can secure what he wants and lets face it why travel from USA to Africa if he doesn't think he can, this could be a splendid outcome for us
I'm not predicting SP here as I know that, where my head is would just attract the usual derampers

I said after Xmas with SOA RNS and sold @ 8.5 thinking I had several weeks to get back in

Firstly, congrates on judgment. I really thought there would be more to it
Secondly WTF is it doing at 16p ? If it is still around this end of next week when I have funds I'll be piling back in

I get that but we were talking year/tax end which would have the biggest impact
Unless there are major defaults on payments or business irregularities which I doubt any of the potential buyers have

If a listed company has great results and SP goes up then the company has a higher value ergo higher borrowing power
Or am I missing something, I'm no expert but that's what I thought

To call a company high risk without at least some reason behind it sure sounds like deramping to me
But please inform me if you do have substance to you comment

I know and if it was a Russian company who's tax year end 31st Dec (I think) that would also be irrelevant

I was just suggesting that whoever is making a bid could be better off if they had a good year

There may be no tax benefits but wouldn't there be benefits if they have great end of year results ?
The better their bottom line the better the interest rate they'll get or they could borrow more
