That's my point, ANYONE posting about rights should know the work EUA have done ensuring they had all their ducks in a row and also include this in any post alongside RUSSIA owning the minerals. If that's the slant they want to use.

However, as you say, in the current claimant things could and I use could go wrong, but so far I have no reason to believe they will a) sanctions do not affect us at present b) we are not classed as a naughty company by Russia

As long as both these statements stay the same and going with what the BOD said I think we are in a good place

What you and Toffers don't mention is- EUA has the correct licences which allow them to explore, and give them the rights to sell. Obviously, the state will benefit (as they should) from others doing the exploratory work and then mining companies extracting

Just quoting facts that Russia owns the minerals is purposely misleading

I've been a member for a good while and hadn't posted on here for 18 months 2 years

However, with the recent AGM and the fact EUA has managed to navigate the geopolitical climate since the war, I'm certainly excited about the sale

TF, You are welcome to your opinion although likening a group of investors posting on an investment board about the share they are invested in to Kim Jong Un's yes-men, in my eyes ruined any credibility you may have been hoping to have, I'm sure you'll say you don't care about that, but that can't be the case or you wouldn't spend your valuable time posting in the first place, especially considering your not actually invested, so you must have a reason to post, although I have no idea what that could be

We know this is risky, but those invested CHOOSE to go with what the BOD have told us where they are today, and the facts are, money is still in the ground, EUA own licences, DFS done, minerals are needed and I assume buyers are assessing.

EUA seem to be navigating this current climate and I'm hopeful we will see some lovely returns from here

That is certainly one way to look at it if you want to totally ignore what the board have said in regards to lining up a sale and rewarding shareholders

However, I'll go with what they've told us at the AGM and trust they understand their position better than you do

I'm not an idiot and understand there are certain risks associated with this play, however, I'm choosing to take them as I'm "hoping" for a lovely jubley ending this year

You make some great points regarding the complexity for Poly and that's why I find it completely irrelevant when some on here bang on about the BOD not doing enough or saying where's the updates, they don't own the minerals etc etc. So far they've navigated a brand new political environment since the war and they've done what they need to ensure the Russian authorities don't see them as a "naughty company" and so far sanctions don't affect them. Add this to the AGM and yes I'm hopeful and believe the DFS was the last piece of this very complex jigsaw GLA

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Gold and silver producer Polymetal International, which had planned to separate its Russian and Kazakh businesses, now intends to sell assets in Russia under U.S. sanctions within six to nine months, CEO Vitaly Nesis said on Wednesday.

Washington in May included Polymetal’s Russian business and Polyus - the largest gold producers in Russia - on its latest list of sanctions targets, aiming to punish Russia for its actions of Ukraine.

The sanctions have complicated the company’s plans, Nesis said on an investor call, making an asset sale, for which he said there were a number of interested buyers, the only viable option.
