Thanks for the ‘stunning’ fishing puns guys. Just stitching my sides back together..... not really. It doesn’t always work TM but this thing is definitely manipulated in my opinion which weirdly makes it more predictable. A bit like someone twanging a piece of knicker elastic. Anyway , nice to put a few extra ‘squid’ in the ‘bank’ and ‘go with the flow’ , ‘cod’ knows life can be a real ‘beach’ at times.

I’m a (V)LTH probably like a lot on here but there’s no reason in my view to just sit and watch the SP bounce around. If it drops to the 260’s today on no news I will consider buying 10 or 20k or so , if it jumps nearer the 290’s I may sell 10k. When it reverses I will probably sell/buy again , happy to make a few hundred each time , sometimes it can be thousands. I don’t stress it , I don’t let it rule my day but if I’m sat around and the SP looks itchy then why not? Each to their own strategy and GLA.

In all fairness it’s risen from the 240’s in the last few weeks , so sitting in the upper 270’s is pretty good. It seems a lot more stable but there’s still opportunities to trade..... sold 10k at 287 yesterday and repurchased at 277 today. Only a grand cut from costs but it really doesn’t matter how you do it. Makes it a bit more interesting too.

Trouble is I couldn’t live much further from the sea Phuckerty. Not the best pastime unless you can devote 24 hours or more. Getting too old to cope with the winter gales which unfortunately is the best time to go. Meanwhile SP looking quite strong today especially towards end of day.

Talking about betting TM , not a regular gambler ( other than shares ) but do have a William Hill Account. Last week , had my first bet for a while , predicted 5 footie teams to win at circa 60/1 , put a massive £6 on . You’ve guessed it , came in and I made about £340. Had another go , just 4 teams this time but included Lyon to beat Man City at 12/1 , combined odds of about 110/1 and yep made £440 or so on my £4. Now if I’d had the wisdom of Smithy and put the whole tenner on all nine coming in?...... that would have come in at 66,000/1 and 660 grand..... ho hum. Wouldn’t bet on £1.75 here though!

The trouble is psmith64 , 5 minutes ago you are coming out with statements like “ Certain crash coming in November” or whatever it was. It certainly included the word “Certain”. This is why people get upset. You can’t possibly know , who can? Now if certain individuals fall in to the trap of believing this ‘certain nonsense’ and invest accordingly , a) they shouldn’t be investing and b) you should think a bit more beforehand (maybe?) as ultimately you share the responsibility of any losses. Your backtracking now is probably more annoying than anything.
