Hi lolmcshizz. On holiday here currently in Orford. Would love to move here or get a holiday home. If anyone has the odd half million to spare that would get me a two up two down (nearly). Smithy? Come on , I know you’ve got some spare dosh burning a hole.....

Probably right on all counts Smithy but I worry about the Universities et al reopening more than anything. The newly found freedom for some tends to kick common sense in to touch. I really hope the authorities are over strict. My experiences of eating out have been okay , not sure about certain categories of pubs though. No longer a drinker so it doesn’t affect me directly and also I have no experience to draw on.

Not a son of Suffolk BP but hope to become an in-law at some point. Pretty pricey on the coast though! Obviously oil will remain a key ingredient but demand will wane for sure. Hand in hand with that will be a reduction in prospecting as oil becomes the new coal. Certainly as far as transport is concerned anyway. TM , not long ago they used to poo poo wind power etc. , thank god for that as I made a small fortune out of Vestas. How things move on eh?

BuilderPete. Your political observations are spot on. The 4 or 5 year cycle is inherently dumb for any long term common sense to win out. Re your Saudi views I’m not so sure. Together with oil they also have a rather lot of sun. They’re not daft or shy of an investment or two either so let’s see.

‘Preserving the existing economy’ will involve job creation. Will these jobs be down’t mine , on oil rigs or servicing the budding , essentially needed , government imposed and targeted green economy? Hmmmm....

He’s taken his money out after getting lucky. Now he wants everyone else to do the same. The truth is , like the rest of us , he has no real idea what will happen. He is absolutely wrong in making these scaremongering predictions just as I would be to say ITM will hit the moon by mid December. The next major move , unsurprisingly , will be news based and it could go either way. A lockdown affecting construction of the factory or another decent contract , who knows. Personally I will stay in and trade the waves with a small portion. Make up your own mind , don’t listen to phoney tosh and biased guesswork. GLA

The thing is TM , people will drive to a garage forecourt , without thinking you just build that visit in. If you can’t have your own charging point , what do you do then? Drive 20 miles and hang around? Hardly progress in this day and age so quite simply you need clusters of chargers everywhere , hence the figures maybe? Additionally , would you be prepared to queue for a charger like you do for diesel? Almost definitely not , so you actually need disproportionally more and if you expect people to wait you also need something for them to do...... shops etc. I would suggest this is a massively more difficult prospect than switching diesel pumps to H2? All good for us as common sense starts to win out. GWA , keep safe.

So many mixed messages on here. Even the doom mongers ( you know who you are , gardening or whatever ) have positive long term outlooks for ITM. This makes comments like “ you’re playing with fire” utterly ridiculous. Shares and markets go up and down like nodding donkeys. Accept it and stick with your convictions.

Volatility = Money to be made. Only tinkering with 5k to 10k shares but dropped £1800 off my carry costs last week and made £700 in a few hours from yesterday’s drop. Long term holding staying roughly the same. Why just watch it yo-yo and do nothing?

Can anyone honestly say they’ve seen Smithy and Mystic Meg in the same room? Hmmmmm...... I thought not.

In this instance I blame dsc1978. I warned you , if you poke him with a stick he’ll come back out. Meanwhile , £15 target?? I really doubt you could hold until then Smithy , that would definitely take more kahunas ( sorry , guessed the spelling ). Do agree re the need for contact news but hasn’t that always been the case? Trouble is , when it does come , lift off could be pretty dramatic. Personally I’m staying in but tinkering with the odd 10 to 20k buys and sells. Seems to work.
