Boom123. Why don’t you take a run through SW’s maths , where he has bothered to calculate his estimates properly rather than your rather limited effort. ( being kind here) Then you could be a man and apologise for misleading people ? As an investor I don’t need ramping and I don’t need the opposite. We’re all here to make a profit I believe , the most difficult decision isn’t when to buy , it’s when to sell. If SW is near the mark then I suggest people take notice rather than believe any pie in the sky. Personally staying put for now.

Hey Bilbs. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not disagreeing with anything you say re marketing or lack of it. I’m just trying to put a slightly more positive slant on things. Ever since I’ve joined this board there seems to have been a constant stream of gripes , constant they should be doing this , they should be doing that. I’ve always felt people expected this tin pot Sheffield outfit to create their own market. Well that quite clearly has been impossible. Even today the cars aren’t here yet , the infrastructure is arriving gradually but at least ITM are teamed with one of the majors. I don’t think they have much clout in that arrangement but that’s no surprise. Meanwhile the government have singled out ITM as a supplier. They are also the king pin in successful trials to put H2 directly in to the UK’s grid. Last time I looked that’s potential for hundreds of millions of kg’s or m3 or whatever.
So , have they done a good job? Could they have done better? Maybe and maybe. Am I happy with my investment? Certainly.

Every member of a company is a sales person and every member is a marketeer. Someone has put a foot in the door to the government and who cares who it was. First and foremost you need a market , the major concerns have been will it ever exist and will ITM still be around if it does. Well , fortunately the answer to the 1st is yes , and through a bit more than luck the answer to the 2nd is also yes. Will ITM become market leaders? Who knows , but at least they are in with a chance. If they don’t that doesn’t mean they won’t be a success. The markets open to them are huge.

Short of manufacturing vaccines ( over the next year only hopefully), probably going to be one of the biggest new opportunities ever on the cards. Also probably one of the biggest ramp ups in production ever in terms of business size etc. Let’s hope that having the biggest factory and capacity to satisfy some of that new demand will help? I think there will be a few crumbs fall ITM’s way. It seems to me they haven’t put too many feet wrong so far. I’m sure there will always be better people for every job on the planet so let’s see before crucifying the people that have got us here. Delighted to be invested here , ii account even more delighted to have been invested here.

De-ramping on the news flow front is just hilarious given that the government have recently singled out ITM within Bojo’s 10 point plan. I suspect if you hadn’t sold out (again) you would be making that point yourself? It’s a bit like supporting United and switching allegiance backwards and forwards to City.

Ordinarily a 20% profit would be admirable Smithy however in this instance it’s a pretty poor return given how the SP has moved. As PM44 has suggested , maybe spare us the daily “same thoughts of the day” routine. Your investing/forecasting credibilities need a little honing at this point in time. Otherwise you seem a good chap and as such I think it may be wise to keep a toe in here. All the best whatever.

Maybe some profit taking over the last two days but buys have held their own versus sales. We’ve often seen drops prior to good news so let’s hope there’s a decent RNS on the way. Maybe a factory opening , maybe a chunky contract , maybe both? Nothing to complain about whatever. Happy place , happy place......

Absolutely agree re the redundant charging points Mucker. Mind you it’s a bit like spending /wasting £Billions on an electric train set. Who wants anything to do with the North anyway..... ( just a joke lads....) H2 just HAS to be the way to go on that one.

In expanding the circulation I can imagine you will hit a lot of unenlightened types who , hard to believe I know , don’t know anything about ITM and the H2 industry as a whole. They’ll have heard about the push to EV’s but probably not much of our concerns re the Grid or lack of a workable solution. Quite rightly , for wording limitations you have focussed on the vehicle issues but I wonder whether Grid implosion and associated costs could hit home too? In forwarding the petition is there any way of tagging on a suitable article on this front as a kind of piggyback? Just a thought because as you say the 10,000 and 100,000 targets are a challenge.

Sorry I don’t know Taskmaster and I don’t honestly know whether it was allowing for a full load etc. However the guy I spoke to has no axe to grind either way and is/was completely unaware of my H2 bias. I think the sales pitch was supposing that the company concerned did very few miles on a daily basis therefore the truck would suffice. In fact they do leave the city on occasions so not a goer. I don’t think any of the parties involved would have a reason to make the figure up. It’s hearsay though.

Walking the dog this morning and bumped into a fellow dog walker mate who works in the HGV industry. Told me about a meeting between Scania rep and scaffolding company down in the smoke. Scania pushing their new battery powered truck. He was laughed out of the room. Not on the hellishly expensive price but the 67 , yes 67 mile range , probably less when fully loaded. Considered completely impractical. Bit of a problem. Hmmmmmm , shame.
