All the Greenies down today , not limited to H2. SP rise still very impressive and with the whole area increasingly in the headlights hopefully any paper losses will be short lived. Maybe we will get back on track with today’s government webinar and Shell’s green initiatives to be in the news on Thursday? Have just bought a few shares back in to my ISA in anticipation. Interesting week whatever. GLA and as people are saying DYR!

Very very interesting. Deep pockets these guys. Used to spending a few quid and not bothering with holes in the ground so much these days.

ITM have just completed the largest electrolyser factory on the planet and have thoughts to build another bigger one very soon. They also have the funds to do so. Their project pipeline is growing rapidly , they seem to have a close relationship with the government. It all adds up. That certainly cannot be said for most other H2 companies who may well be occupying a false financial position currently. Hopefully all will do well but as with most rapidly developing areas , some will fall by the wayside. ITM look the least likely IMO.

Frankly , comparing the green situation to the dot com bubble is ridiculous. The two are poles apart , the latter burst in seconds relatively , greed built on zero substance. Additionally to kick green H2 in to touch on cost is laughable. They said the exact same about wind power. Hmmmmm. Where are we now and where would the CO2 levels be without it? Finally , if we are going to be blind sided by today’s snapshot of costs , what about the cost that the Telegraph buffoon doesn’t mention? Colonising a new planet.

Give a time frame for dropping the subsidy completely , replace the subsidy with an incentive to move the curtailed energy in to battery or preferably hydrogen storage ie. help them to buy some kit.

Who knows what Shell will come up with? No guarantees for sure. That said , what does it say about a companies progression when immediately after opening their new , shiny , worlds biggest factory , they start talking about another one with twice that world beating capacity? Me thinks they have some ideas up their sleeves about upcoming orders / government policies? Pretty exciting really but only my gut feel.

Hard to call JK. This feels like a recovery rather than the daily rollercoaster. No doubt that the whole area is being watched more closely and that money is moving in. Last Thurs/Fri was an intake of breath moment following a period of incessant ups. It couldn’t continue like that. Then again , this is ITM so what do any of us know....... personally I’ve re-bought quite a lot of stock to nullify a potential CGT crucifixion and I’m feeling confident about where this is going. Just a gut feel and as always NOT a recommendation. GLA

Just for once Smithy have to say I’m on the same page , possibly the same line too. When an announcement lands turning the planning/theory in to actions?? The historical ups and downs may seem like interference.

Stopped looking at the SP about mid-day. Tried to find some sand to bury my head in. Expected the worse , hoped for an afternoon recovery. Waited til close and got precisely nothing. Pretty stable day really. Hopefully that’s the fluff out of the market and we’ll see a slow recovery over the next few weeks or months. Suspect this will move up on news as can’t really see anything bad on the horizon. Shipments to be announced in the next few weeks so last years sales should be surpassed imminently plus we have to expect some contract RNS’s. Long term looking forward to the day we plug in to the grid. GWA.

Very large parts of this country not worth living in too. Same throughout the world I guess and no easy solutions. Modern day law of the jungle?

They need H2 though which is the point being made.

Be interesting to see if the Tech rout is put to an end when the U.S. kicks off soon? If not we could retrace a bit , if yes , could be they kick us in to positive territory.

Many times down the years. Nothing goes up in a straight line so this drop for ITM and others was on the cards big time. No surprises whatsoever in the update , the pipeline and contract news point to a very good future. Imagine the growth %’s once this wonderfactory starts to do the business? Ask yourself what the next half a dozen RNS’s will be about? Contracts or funding issues? Hmmmmm. Very confident and weirdly okay about the SP’s intake of breath.

Drop isn’t purely about the half year report. As people say , hopefully a great top up opportunity and we set a base to build on from today. Nothing has changed as Smithy says. Cue the new contract RNS in the next week or so?
