£40k drop? I wish! Miles down on that but what do you expect after the huge rise prior? Absolutely wrong IMO to refer to as a loss , that only happens when you sell. For a lot of LTH’s like myself it would still be wrong to call it a loss because even today my whole portfolio is up circa 500% versus 2 years ago , primarily due to ITM by the way. It’s very easy to come on this board spouting doom and gloom and you should have done this or that but that’s the benefit of hindsight and that’s the benefit of choosing what period you what to look at. Personally , as many have stated , I’m happy to be here , I’m the richer for it , and I have great expectations of where ITM are going. I don’t need the help of a chart to know things have gone backwards either , mind you if it can tell me where things will be in 12 months time?...... I thought not.

Sorry Beauchamp , a misunderstanding , I was talking generally not about you. Understandably some people simply play safe. Nothing wrong with that and sometimes you look back and wish you’d employed some caution. By the same token , sometimes you wish you’d followed your gut a little more. Hindsight! We get a lot of it on here , especially after a drop it appears out of the woodwork.

If you can get excited about 1.7% from a bond I reckon it’s time to step back and re-evaluate. You can easily get 6% plus in dividends on pretty stable shares without batting an eyelid. Despite the recent market drift that ITM is caught up in the SP has still risen from under 15p to 430p in the last couple of years. Of course if you’d prefer your compounded 1.7% that’s up to you but if this company goes where we suspect 430p is going to seem pretty dull. AIMO , make your own decisions.

Hopefully Prof. Sounds like the Plug drop is a bit over done from what I can see. Not accounting fraud just a ****erel-up.

Tend to agree with Rodney in Zanzibar. Buys outweighing sells day after day as the SP drops. Someone explain that one please and it needs to be better that “the whole sector is down”.
Meanwhile the outlook here isn’t quite so pleasant , raining whilst hoping for a p.m. cycle ride , a load of tosh on telly ( no cricket today ) and lunch looking like it will have to be egg based.

If buys outweigh sells ( day after day whilst SP drops ) what else is at play? Could someone please explain? It seems to me that somewhere someone has an interest in keeping SP’s on the move , either up or down , it doesn’t matter. That being the case I remain happy because there will be a reversal at some point plus the fundamentals that brought us here remain unaltered. I would also be happy for a more scientific explanation but it has to be better than “ the whole sector is down “ or “ it can’t be manipulation”.

With regard to long term holding or day trading , and at the risk of boring many on here , I have to say I do both. That said , my day trading crystal ball has been somewhat clouded of late so day trades have dropped off a bit. This thing used to bounce about on zero news , a drop would follow a rise and vica versa(generally). Of late it has moved to a different tune , tied in to unpredictable green / tech changes in sentiment. Much more of a guessing game.

Nacnud42. If , as we all hope , it turns out that this company has something the world needs , you won’t have to wait 10 years. Things could change very quickly with the right news.

We’ve been here a million times before. Existing forecourts can be converted to H2. Very low cost. The process/flow functions like today. Meanwhile real estate is required for a battery solution at scale and people need to be able to sit around or buy some chips. Where does that land come from given that every new housing estate I see has town houses built on plots the size of a medium sized door mat. Plus that real estate needs to be wired up. Crazy.

LPG was up against diesel and petrol with no expectation of their demise. This is a completely different scenario. If H2 proves viable for larger vehicles , thank you Boris for today’s promise , then cars will follow. Ask yourself this , if you had a choice and price /infrastructure wasn’t an issue , what would you buy , battery or H2? One - Nil to H2 after my vote.

More and more news about the expansion of H2. I wonder if they’ve talked to Prof Cebon? It doesn’t seem people share the same hymn book let alone sing from the same page. All good news , should turn the heat up under Shell et al.
