Personally feel it’s extremely simplistic to infer EV charging isn’t an issue. There may be solutions in place currently but what % of cars are EV’s ( and how many of those are actually hybrids) ? Simply parking is an issue in a lot of areas , and this isn’t limited to inner cities but smaller towns too. Please explain how , when every car requires charging , this is all going to fit together? I see queues , I see arguments, I see games of dodgems with people prowling the streets looking for a charging point. A two minute Google tells me there are 32M cars in the UK and roughly 8400 garages , average 4000 each ish. Sounds about right , works pretty well , H2 could slot in nicely , easiest solution in so many ways. If the thinking is correct and larger vehicles will require H2 infrastructure then it seems logical the next step will be cars. Screw the lamppost Hokey Cokey. No EV for me , sorry TM.

I don’t think we need substantiation to doubt whether fossil fuels are easily replaced. Look at the numbers. EV’s are small beer at the moment , the problems of scale have yet to arise. The take up so far has been by people who are capable of charging at home / are highly green motivated / can afford it. Don’t forget the high rises , the Victorian terraces , the etc. etc. H2 is a much simpler solution and will have it’s place.

Maybe Bilbs but not that many will have£38k either. Prices will come down by the time I get seriously interested (hopefully) and don’t forget there are such things as second hand cars? Would you buy a second hand battery powered car and trust it , I know I wouldn’t , I’d need to know it’s recharging and maintenance history.

Speaking as an old dog who can’t cope with new tricks , me. I’d buy a more expensive FC car before landing myself in a battery monitoring / range anxiety nightmare. Maybe not the Mirai , and maybe after we get a few more H2 forecourts but for sure the price issue wouldn’t be number one on the list.

To take a bit of profit for 2020/2021. Caught me out a bit with Easter holidays and new tax year a day later. I dare say without that deadline we’d have been in the blue. Looking forward to 4 restful days with no SP watching. Have a good holiday guys.

Tend to take Brokers targets with a very large pinch of salt , having said that 800p is preferable to 80p. Haven’t been trading this recently , crystal ball has felt very clouded. Gut feel is it has turned a corner , positive news activity remains high so maybe 800p WILL be on the cards in the next year or so? Sitting tight for the moment and hoping for an acceleration in contract RNS’s.

All good work McBF. Do you know there was a time , maybe 15 years ago when wind power was ridiculed for being inefficient and too expensive ( by experts??). I don’t think Prof Cebon was involved but sounds right up his street. It seems like a similar situation to me now although in a way the opportunity for ITM has even bigger numbers attached to it. Personally I bought Vestas shares near their lowest ever point..... enough said.

Never mind the 17.5 , I’ll be happy if it ends blue. That said , plenty of blue days to come , shorters don’t alter the fundamentals and can’t put a scratch on the scale of opportunities. They are seizing their likely short-lived moment.

The tide will turn. Nothing changed here. Hydrogen has a major part to play in the future and green hydrogen the most important part of that part. The world doesn’t have a choice , decisions (demise of Diesel engines for eg. ) have remarkably already been taken , there won’t be a reversal. ITM are superbly placed , the orders will come and the factory is ready. It doesn’t happen overnight so in the meantime the whole sector is being driven down with greed the main factor it seems. Not a time to panic , for me anyway.

The possibility of a takeover has been on my mind too PhatS. Not sure how that would go through with our many “co-owners” and their own agendas?

Hi Lutra. Not intended that one , god knows I could come up with a few. Been out for a few hours and have returned to the continuing drop in SP and the tirade from our newbie. True colours and all that , not worth a response. Hoping this will turn around soon , rumour has it there’s a colour other than red , can’t remember one.
