Spicy. Trade wars play straight into ITM’s hands. Trump has accidentally forced everyone to ask whom can they trust? The answer being nobody better than yourself. Security is paramount, self reliance is under the microscope. Sure , there’s a few ups and downs , everyone gets caught up in it briefly. I would argue that ITM has barely been affected. Not sure how many CWR shares were traded but by my reckoning Qube only held about 1.3M so probably didn’t pay too much of a premium amongst the turmoil. I bet the shorters would love to be out of here too. Ignoring the starting point you could argue the SP has held up reasonably post tariffs so maybe they didn’t get the opportunity they hoped for. Rest of this week will be interesting.

I had to divest of everything for a house purchase a year or so ago. Couldn’t rely on selling existing house quick enough unfortunately. Thought it was pretty dire only getting 90p or so for the last ITM batch given I was selling up and down to the £7 maximum. Funny how things happen. House sale now through, money in bank. Have got back into ITM but not holding so many. A few years ago I’d be thinking about that bank balance and investing in this turmoil. A bit like Bilbs , you start to worry a bit more with age. Not saying I won’t but things will have to get much worse. Worst part of the whole thing was having to sell a large number of Rolls Royce at £1.25 or so. Made £25K. Sounds like good news but then they went to over £8. You do the maths. Yep , really funny how things happen. Crying now……

This is the time to make money but you need money not shares to do it. Big kahunas help too. Waiting to do a BEDandISA(?) myself , really don’t know how to time that. Meanwhile bought a few into my ISA with a few K spare cash. Buckle up as Lucky says , not sure the ride will be enjoyable though.

Trump is taking America backwards in a big way. He is also burning bridges left right and centre with the rest of the world. His country will suffer even more than it has been ( the reason he was voted in ) and be much weaker than it would have been moving forward. His country doesn’t make things anymore , much like ourselves , because people can do it cheaper elsewhere. Good luck with changing that. Using tariffs to turn things around is particularly stupid , his supporters will find themselves even poorer , and his allies will shun the USA from here on in. Meanwhile , the rest of the world find themselves unable to rely not just on the Putins but now the USA. The need to be self supporting in terms of security and energy security in particular becomes paramount. The need to get away from FF’s has yet another big tick alongside it. The USA will find themselves at the bottom of the class and with no friends in the playground. No sympathy , they knew what they were getting.

Still a fairly high cash burn , the Bosch news is still new news and most importantly sales are predicted to stagnate next year. Hard to predict a rapid rise but they do have cash in hand. Not tempted personally.

The problem is Spicy , I did bother to read the chat history, quickly realised there was something wrong and bothered to work out why. You meanwhile were keen enough and thick enough to believe it. Troublesome was rightly positive about the 38% CAGR and you behaved like a playground bully towards him. A real man would now apologise , not try to shift the blame. Pathetic.

And by the way Spicy , doesn’t it just sum you up that you can be so obnoxious to Trouble and yet ironically it is you who has the maths void and quite honestly any grasp on …… well…..anything?? I really don’t like being personal but find it very hard to ignore persons like yourself trying to belittle others. Beggars belief.

I’m reminded of when I had a real job and people from sales or marketing would believe any figure that dropped on a report. No questioning skills whatsoever. Dangerous.

So the only real lesson here is , could anyone in their right mind expect global green H2 growth of 1.29% compound. If it looks wrong , question it.

So , taking a look at the numbers ie. Estimates:

Global green H2 for 2024 estimate , $7.98B ( not what Spicy used )

GGH2 for 2034 , $199.22B CAGR of 38% over 10 years

GGH2 for 2050, $1.4T CAGR of 22% over 26 years

Don’t know where the 2050 $ 222.15B came from but it simply looks wrong next to the other figures.

Whatever happens Spicy’s 1.29% is ridiculous and pretty much sums up his willingness to grasp at straws of any kind. Sad indictment.
