yes fedz - if I recall the history is that they saw all the pagans celebrating and having a festival and simply aligned their festival of the birth of christ to be in line with it - so that the the psychological element to "having a party at that time" didn't change and slowly more and more moved over to the christian festival.

If Block management knew that there were some serious underlying issues that we do not know about, or that they were just simply full of it, then they would really have to be some kind of c**nts to wish all of the shareholders a happy xmas.

In my view, they are confident in their strategy, having corrected their mistake at 16az and feel confident enough to wish all a happy new year. They cannot wish us a happy new year, if they know of any potential sting in the tail in an RNS in january.

So, I take that as a positive statement, that things are looking up.
