You really do look at things in such a narrow minded way. The SP has made it as high as 9p and that has been despite making losses for years. You view TP from your 12 month window and unfortunately for you, you have invested at exactly the wrong time. Your views are clearly counter to nearly every single long term holder because your position is different, you need to stop arguing the toss here because for a lot of us 6.5p is just not worth it, not even close. The TPG share price has always managed to recover because there is clearly growth in revenue and the order book. The missing pieces is cost reduction leading to a profit. Though with the CEO saying publically he is addressing that why would those of us who have held in some cases 10+ years not give 12 months to see that through? The only people you are going to persuade are those who are desperate to get out or need the liquidity. The comments you have made about II's are just your complete own spin and exceptionally misleading, you actually have no idea what communication took place between the sellers and SAG, or indeed any of their reasons for selling.

Stokey12 agree very tit for tat but on the flipside SAG fired the first shot and TPG has to defend itself or risk losing shareholders to the very harsh diatribe released by SAG. All because SAG made a very low ball first offer and TPG refused to engage. SAG purposefully didn't release details of that offer and when TPG revealed it to the market SAG has thrown its toys out of the pram subsequently and focused almost exclusively on "our SP growth has been much better than yours".

SAG are in no rush here they get on the board then you can kiss goodbye to 6.5p more like 3 or 4p in 12+ months. First order of business full audit cost a few million quid to come off the bottom line. SAG intend to get on the board to make life difficult, destroy value because that is the cheapest way to mop up. Fatoomch, an operating loss of around £2M - £3M. Obviously I can only guess what the write downs will be and there will no doubt be some other one off items, there always is with TPG. But if losses are not that bad and remember 2020 full years do include the drag of engineering and there are green shoots in the numbers beyond revenue and some cashflow generation then I would be pleased, but let's hold no bones anything other than profit here and you (who I have no issue with), your firesale sidekick and SAG are just going to hammer TPG. I think on both counts I'm likely to be right.

Yes TPG have under performed but if you need the liquidity that bad just sell now it really is that simple, if EBITDA does hit £6.1M and that equates to a profit in 18 months of around £3M - £4M that equates to a PE ratio that justifies a 2.2X higher market cap but you want to dispose at 6.5p in 12 months. Ludicrous, it's basic use of occams razor the hypothesis with the least amount of assumptions is there an attractive level of value here SAG know it and because of some collective echo chamber mentality or bad actor motivation you continue to promote SAG's approach as the only solution. It really isn't and we will find out on results day whether you've been short sighted or not.

Leas I would support that comment particularly because like finger prints immune systems are unique. There's an element of luck in all recruitment because nobody ever has the exact same response to any treatment. I did some reading on that takeover after the RNS and they deployed similar tactics. They are still buying on weakness, whomever is selling to them is no friend of ours, SAG have used every dirty tactic they have. Yet people on here and the other board applaud them for it, our weak holders have helped them no end. I've decided to accumulate more shares too so I can maximise my vote but I will be voting with TPG, I honestly can't think why anybody would vote with SAG as your effectively voting for your shares to go cheaply in 6 - 12 months, the liquidity point has passed, results are next week.

This mornings RNS plenty of important stuff in there but important here: "Furthermore, the Board confirms that:

You can try and backtrack my friend but whether it be News or Results, you and everybody else who isn't paid by TLW to know these things knows neither. Semantics don't wash because there are question marks over news and the results.

JMAX for starters I'm not arguing for any SP movement on results day, but how can so many unknowns be priced in? If that's the case did TLW make a profit or loss in H1, what was the FCF figure, what's happening with Kenya and South America, has the second well been tied in and has it been contributing to production, what is current production?

Look I have respect for financial analysts but at the end of the day those that follow any company, are extrapolating from old results with what info has been released prior to the results added in. So in other words a guess, a guess more educated than your average joe on the street but still guesswork dressed up.

Deeko19 you have a point but it's 9 days to wait for news. The BOD protect the interests of long term investors not day traders or liquidity makers, the CMD plan stretches across 7 years. If you're still annoyed after the 15th contact IR they always reply back and answer the concerns you may have or at least the ones they can quickly.

Are TLW still on review, the last review is now really old hat with it being pre-finance, based on $50 oil, not including disposals cash and not including up to date production numbers. Are we expecting a credit re-rating from Caa1 post results?

fatoomch, we all know by now what you and Lasvelas want to happen. The buying has however stopped that's not a matter of opinion and could of course change at any time before the deadline, if you and Lasvelas are so desperate to get out at 6.5p contact your broker and see if they could sort something out with SAG. Leave the rest of us to stick and see how this pads out. But you won't will you, you will continue to sing SAG's praises and encourage others to dispose of their holdings.

Except for the fact Jubilee production has increased by 240K as per July's figures and there's a water injector well that should be tied in imminently. Ten has continued to decline but at around 14K bpd net to Tullow has not been as bad as some on here have claimed it would be, so really overall production in Ghana has been positive. The non-op is expected to be flat.

That should read compared with June. Sorry. Also the rate of decline at Ten appears to have slowed down significantly. Production looks positive, with 3 more wells to come.

Adieuk32, just on BOPD the production numbers are available for July and in July I make it just shy of 42K net to tullow (Ten + Jubilee), so that's ahead of the guidance for this year (40K). However as already indicated planned shutdowns will have an impact. Just for info Jubilee has produced an additional 270K bbl compared with August (that's the impact of the new one producing well) hopefully the water injector when tied in has a similar bump up.

This is entirely frustrating that shares are being given up so easily and no doubt with back hand deals in the background. Question can TPG apply to AIM for suspension of trading? We are being taken over for a pittance which is an absolute joke. I'm even thinking about writing to the FCA particularly because of the de-ramping nature of the notice issued by SAG. With a will they won't they RNS while the consistent buying suggests they are going for it with support from II's. They clearly already have 30% on board already. PI's always get shafted in takeovers and it's madness how loads of people pray for these scenarios. We are stuffed here and 6.5p is pathetic.
