Considering I have never in all the years I've posted on here ever given a price prediction on any company I've invested in, or do I telegraph when I buy or sell. My strategy here has always been to accumulate on the dips until 2027, because I've decided to believe the CMD plan, so in terms of yesterday that was an opportunity for me to increase. Doesn't mean I can't vent about the SP movements but seriously yesterday a low of $380M market cap when last week they are still saying they can achieve $300M of FCF this year. Andoman your 2p worth is nonsense from start to finish. TLW was run (excellently for the record) by CEO and founder Aiden Heavey at the time they entered Kenya, which was properly licenced out. So what you are waffling on about is garbage.

Additionally Aiden managed to get the share price to £10 and got the blend of exploration and producing assets nailed. The debt markets were Kinder back then but TLW had so many eggs in different baskets and was producing over $2 3B in revenue. If you think TLW that was in the FTSE 100 around that time didn't do any due diligence before taking a share of the Kenyan licences (the same would have applied to 2 other companies Africa Oil and Centric then later Total) then you are thicker than you sound.

Flavius it's a no brainer at these levels doesn't even have to be $60M a paltry $20M per annum would save the company on future dividends. They are not going to struggle to refinance with this amount deduced from FCF of $800M over the next 2 years.

The frustrating thing here is the board have watched the SP collapse previously because debt was above 1.5 times it's now less than this so they can act. RD said debt reduction is a religion but I would argue they are duty bound to protect shareholders from an undervalued takeover which they are idly allowing to become a reality.

Jeffries are the harshest critics of analyst coverages. Will they update their target to reflect that additional $100M - $200M they incorrectly fabricated and added in Capex. Do minor hedge funds often hire CEO's on multi million pound remuneration deals with no experience of hedge fund management with only investment experience on oil and gas mergers from 25 years ago? If free cash can't be used to pay the debt down quicker remember the bonds are unanimously happy to wait till maturity inferring from the recent buyback offer and they have hundreds of millions in cash that they can't seem to deploy due to no FDP approval for Ten, no Kenya FDP approval and a JV bid failure.

What ever do you mean by big boys? Why would RD worry about institutions or investors that borrow stock and have cut down his bonus and remuneration significantly over the years. Silly comment. They are 18 months ahead of net debt target when looking at the CMD plan, so refinancing 2026 even this year at $1.4B or $1.5B is negligible or arguably irrelevant based on $800M FCF in 24 months.

Paper loss rides the headlines. What's missed here is below 1.5 times debt they can buy back shares and there's nothing bond holders can do about it. $100M is quarter of the shares in existence come on RD stuff these shorts and actually do something positive to the SP.

Dude you compared DP with Steve Jobs. What has DP ever achieved? He didn't create the Tech and has managed to destroy the SP by 97% and burnt through millions of cash for nothing but significant writedowns and an inability to pat salaries and debt (Eqtec has never made a single debt repayment, shareholders have paid for that privilege buying shares that are dumped on the market). Also I had a run at the numbers and unless there is some actual pipeline development in the short term then more cash is going to be required to keep the lights on as early as Q3, looks clear that struggling to pay salaries and debt is where we will remain let alone generating free cash which will move the SP.
