I think Avion are exiting left. They clearly are pushing for a different partnership. Though Avion hold shares so will not be left with nothing.

I've been holding shares where hostile takeovers have taken place and private shareholders often get shafted in terms of value recognised. The board holding very little stock is not a good defence on that front and PI's can be weak on an offer of a quick buck say 40% on whatever this stabilises at. Plus funds who's entire MO is buying up the free float and voting for any marginal increase exist, come across a fair few over the years.

Anyways I think a takeover would require 75% to pass so the PI's could swing it but sad to say if there was an approach it's Lanstead who would likely be the king makers and we all know how not sticky their hands are. Though the BOD have some warrants to exercise and I would hope for their own sense they'd buy as much as they can when they are able to.

86KB different II's have different risk rules. Some II's will take on any investment, specialist funds in growth or small cap for example. But you are right in the sense the higher the market cap then that does unlock some institutions particularly more vanilla institutions, but £100M would make much more of a difference than £50M.

From Maverick alone we are witnessing justification (cope) for a poor trade yesterday, FOMO making him anxious, regret, spite and cognitive dissonance. If he was a healthy individual he would be pleased with his profit leave it for a bit and come back in a few weeks and assess the situation logically.
