HotBlack - there was also a study done in May this year that believed the true figure for the UK was 209,000.
As always, there are lies, damned lies and statistics.
I know a home office pathologist who back in the early days of the pandemic when we were being told the virus stayed on a surface for 3 days, she found it still 'alive' after 19 days
One thing to be aware of that if you have been recorded as having Covid and then get it again, it is not recorded in the daily figures. So just because we're not seeing a lot of new cases being reported doesn't mean they're not happening.
It's the same for the deaths, the current figure of 145,281 is only for those within 28 days of a positive test. Take that up to within 60 days and you can add another 21,000
I've been out all day so thought I'd have a quick catch up and I can see it's been a pretty full on day!
There's a lot of talk about how much people have lost but surely, you only lose if you sell at less than you paid? If you wait until SAR have loads of drugs that cure all sorts then surely you'll be quids in?
I also see a lot of frustration with the BOD but I try to remember that they are not just running a company but also trying to progress science so whilst I find it frustrating, I like to think of the adage - no news is good news.
Now can someone give me the winning numbers for tonight so I can buy loads more shares please?
322% growth from this date last year, not to be sniffed at!
If I had a stock that was £1 and went to £322 I'd be over the moon but with SAR, we're talking smaller numbers.
I loved your post on why SAR is THE biotech to be in right, not just for the money but to save lives too
Utah, as we stand here on the precipice I totally agree that a £60 sp is quite fanciful but as you point out, it could happen.
My personal feeling, and I know people will jump on me for it, is that the sp could just go up and up if and I know that's a big IF, all of the compounds work as we all hope they do. But then, what IF these compounds are actually convertible into working against other diseases? Dream big I say!
I truly believe that the scientists could be the next Jenner, Pasteur or Curie.
Thoth2, can we have some clarity as to where the 1000 bag starts from? I've bought some shares at 0.25p so that would give £2.50 which would be ok but I bought some recently at 6p so that would be £60 per share, are we all happy with that figure?

WIP - Maybe you've been here too long if you think I'm a deramper. I lost my Brother and Dad at the beginning of the pandemic, my brother was just 48 and also got diagnosed with leukaemia when he went into hospital. This is the reason I really want Sareum to do huge things and I can't see any reason why they can't be worth £££'s. Perhaps look at my opinion just under my name where it states Strong Buy.
I just hoped that people would stop all the name calling as I personally think it's really disruptive. As for putting a post on 3 minutes after the RNS, perhaps you should note that I'm a 2 finger typer.
So I'll say again for the doubters - Sareum will be a huge presence and I sincerely hope 'WE' can cure cancers, Covid and immune system diseases. STRONG BUY
I can honestly say this is probably the angriest board I've ever been on. The amount of venom and hatred on here when someone has a different opinion is astonishing considering we're all grown ups.
This world has become very selfish over the last 10 years or so but that doesn't mean that this place has to be so vitriolic does it?
Personally speaking, I'm invested in SAR because yes I want to make money but mostly because I would feel amazing if my few hundred quid helped become the cure for a disease.
Peace and love
I totally agree with regards to the documentary, Katie proved to me what a great Mum she is. Her personal life is of no interest to me but I think it's safe to say that she's got some deep rooted issues but let's face it, who hasn't?
