....to be quite honest because I am ten years or so older than a lot of you chaps I was brought up seeing different ground breaking groups, such as, here we go: Cream, led Zeppelin, Black Sabb, Jethro Tull, Genesis, Pink Floyd, The Yardbirds, Yes, The Who, Atomic Rooster, Ten Years After, Jimi Hendrix, Free, I mean the Yanks didn’t know what a rock band was until led Zeppelin went across there and blow them apart - they were that used to watching the Beach Boys. The only thing that came out of America in those days that resembled a rock band was a young Jimi Hendrix and he made our lot sit up - mind you I could stick a lot more on that list.

Yeah Billy your right, got my groups mixed up - Brian Johnson joined AC/DC, what happened to the lead singer before a Johnson - mind you in those days guys used to swap groups on regular mass looking for that super group.

Yeah Billy, Brian Johnson being a Geordie, named his first group Geordie but only had one hit. When he realised the name Geordie didn’t fit for the name of a group, he scraped it and eventually formed AC/DC after getting himself a descent guitarist - that must have been mid seventies - aye when we were young!! lol
