For all you doom and gloomers IAG will be £10 within 5 years. It is a leaner and meaner airline to what it was - it will be more efficient, pick up extra business from Air Europe, pick up extra business from those who have fallen by the wayside, and will have a lot less overheads. EZJ, and TUI will be up way past £10, so believe you me IAG will be right up their backsides.

Dow down over 1000 points in two sessions - hope that decline is stopped in its tracks.

...they haven't Billy, however the likes of RYA, TUI, EZJ share prices have bounced off pre - covid levels and then back down and that is what people have been looking at - BA being the exception. I would say those three SP's are the closes to pre-covid levels. When the recovery comes IAG will have the most to recover, which I am looking forward to because that means more pennies!! ;-))

danl90 - coal mines a couple of years ago. When they were bought they were supposed to be a big money maker for Glen - the trouble with that was everyone was starting to talk Green so companies weren't looking for mines, they were dumping them. I don't know what the shelf life of these mines are but it will be a shrinking market now and the price of coal will drop, and to sell them, well you would have to put it on e-bay!!!!

Of course if Glen didn't have all of this debt, we would probably be looking at a £7 - £8 SP. Just when we think the debt is going to drop considerably, some idiot at Glen goes out and buys some coal mines, just when the world is trying to go green - great fegin timing ffs

Bloomberg metal research this morning - 16 Trillion Capex will fuel commodities boom, especially Copper because there is no spare capacity:-)))

....is starting to move up now so fingers crossed a positive day tomorrow, so as to continue this upward trend.

On Bloomberg now - 11 months straight gains, target 10,500 dollars within 12 months. Some analysts now saying this is not a super cycle and is a case of panic buying - ffs the numbers speak for themselves. Their calling it super cycle mania!!! :-)))

At what stage does the death rate in the USA have a bearing on international travel between the U.K if any. Trump just ignored the numbers but Biden looks as though he is going to do something about it.
All this talk about business travel not returning to pre COVID level may have a point, however the numbers talked about is pure speculation - people will still want to escape from the office.

Once again a strong night of gains in base metals and with futures looking higher, dollar lower, a blue day should be expected - trying to work out when the pullback is remains the question.
