….I was part of 7 ARM BDE which spear headed the ground assault on Iraq by British forces during Gulf War 1 . It was a multi national effort made up of numerous forces. The French Foreign Legion was supposed to be there but nobody could find them, so they obviously didn’t see any action - probably hiding under a sand dune Mr Fontenoy !!!
