I snapped up just under £1000 of TUI Shares yesterday (including the trade fee). However, I noticed there was zero Stamp Duty Reserve Tax... As a UK taxpayer do I need to pay SDRT on these TUI shares?

Nice drop in short positions recently. Given inflation is generally remaining rather heated, and together with Hunt set to keep the cap on household energy bills in the upcoming budget, this surely sets up fair conditions for retail across the board? Perhaps 90p-£1 through the rest of this year for Currys?
