Thanks RP, amazing that they raised £50m in the current climate and with only pre-clinical data. Valuation is being kept confidential.
I see Tencent co-led the funding round as a new investor - they also took a stake in Oxford Nanopore a couple of years ago.
There are differences between 4D approach and Microbioticas but also big similarities.
One is related to the way they stratify gut microbial signatures to identify patient candidates, which 4D did with Blautix and also on another unspecified trial (probably 0518).
More evidence that those in the know still back microbiome. It's just the message is not getting through yet to those with the real money.
