When I was being positive I was unaware that we had a cash squeeze due to having to keep more than half Oxford money in the bank.

And also that a fundraising had been anticipated as part of the deal but did not go ahead.

That came to light when the annual report was released.

I can also see that the price is being controlled and small investors don't have the firepower to trigger a sustained rise.

90% of what I posted on Stocktwits was stuff from the company presentations and news articles and videos.

For 4D to do well it needs to triple in value. So as to then get institutional attention and make a fund raise possible at a decent price.

That the results didn't deliver that means that we have a problem as no obvious short term catalysts

"Decent update. Very few treatment options in ICI refractory renal cell carcinoma. Lenvima with Keytruda combo was approved last year and has heavy side effects.
Hugely positive safety profile of the 4D drug is key here and although info is limited here all they needed to show is a solid reason to proceed with the approval trial.

I like the sound of the Genitourinary Cancer Board they have set up. The company is taking very big steps and is cautiously looking to get everything right no doubt guided by the Merck team."

I guess that was my point Trek, I've been in a similar boat to you. I held SNG at an average of 40p pre p2 readout and then, on the morning of the game-changing update, trebled my holding at 95p on a small pullback (around 08:15, the move was much bigger than here). A few weeks later the SP hit 230p and I started reducing, eventually selling out around 1.90 as the covid landscape changed.

Today I've done a similar thing. Small holding prior to today but have doubled it at 57p average in expectation of this topping out much, much higher. I see it as likely that i'll be able to derisk at around 100p relatively soon with the rest left to see how it all plays out.

Had you heard me say anything about the results when you posted this?

Only got a very small holding myself but congrats to all those seriously overweight and badly needing this - should be a big rise today I'd have thought!

I am sorry but I was provided the same data as anyone else.

The company gave a positive spin on it so I was following their lead.

Since then I have taken a closer look at the results relative to other trials and we could have done with 1-2 partial responses. Stable disease in 4/16 is still a result but it sounds like they are going to focus on earlier stages of the disease to get more conclusive data.

They could have said we have this great data and we are going to set up a pivotal trial as soon as possible.

Instead we get talk about discussing what a future trial might look like with partners and KOLs. Euphemism for the back burner.

I have been listening to these ****ers for 5 years now and it's always promises of jam tomorrow.

As I said if they resolve the cash issue I will buy more. As it is I am happy with my reduced holding.

Duncan always says he is talking to people.

He was supposed to be talking to the FDA about 0518 over a year ago but now he is going to talk to "partners and KOLs" about future development plans.

The Financial Report RNS informs that they are posting the report and accounts to shareholders. It is already available on the website.

I am not going to gamble my familys future on something Duncan may or more likely may not do.

Oxford have demonstrated that they are not into charitable giving.

They have also had FDA problems as they thought they could get away without filing INDs so definitely not a direct comparison

They got 9 partial responses but that doesn't seem to have led them to take it any further in terms of approval

Duncan and Alex had both been on 100k pa. Duncan is now on 262k and Alex 212k.

Both are eligible for a cash bonus of 100% of their salaries for this year.

The new CFO is on more than 300k

Michael 4D had lots of institutional investors a few years back. Invesco had a big holding.

However, that's because they were attracted by Woodford. Since Mifid 2 put an end to analyst research in micro caps and the Woodford blowout it's all got a bit tougher.

And this is exacerbated by the biotech bear market.
If hundreds of companies are struggling for funds it's not easy to get the attention that was more readily offered in the bull market.

I hope that I am wrong. My point is that I am not here waiting for a White Knight to come along unless it is Big Pharma

As you said the other day 4D might be able to source cash from a partnership or an upfront payment for licensing.

We are considered a penny stock for US investors (anything under $300m).

No doubt undervalued. Maybe I suppose if we actually consolidate our position as the Microbiome Market Leader
