It's hard to find in depth analysis of anything. The FT was caught out by their readers last night trumpeting a slowdown in Alphabet ad revenue when in fact their numbers were down due to mark to market on some of their investments.

And Tesla is going to blow up apparently because Musk is buying Twitter.

I have been buying up more UI Path. Mainly because when I was researching Blue Prism everything kept pointing back to Path.

They are getting heavily shorted because people hate Cathie Wood and she's a buyer.

The Path bots don't get sick and they aren't part of the Great Resignation!

Thing is poker chips the cost of living crisis is more likely to be affecting the Lidl and Asda shoppers.

Those that are accustomed to M & S and Ocado prices are much less likely to be affected and they also ended up saving more during the lockdowns.

The Oxford loan was done in July and that's when the clause was added so presumably they intended to raise before August. I think the loan was actually cover for a raise.

Then the biotech bear market started and Oliveira started dumping more quickly from September onwards so these conditions would have made any raise tougher or near impossible.

Companies that are doing better than others in the biotech bear market are the ones in late stage trials or solid funding through 2023.

I don't think anyone should sell because I am voicing my concerns. When I sold part of my holding it was a very tough decision with lots of competing factors. The positives along with negatives like how easy it is for shorts to control the SP due to the low volumes.

If a company was considering a Blautix partnership they would look to deliver the smallest possible upfront payment they could get away with. 4Ds cash position unfortunately weakens their negotiating hand.

We can all look at the vax milestone total available of $1bn.

But that figure is for 3 candidates to achieve approval and be placed on the market. This is not near term as they are still in pre clinical trials.

An unexpected new licensing deal could be possible for 0518 with another immune checkpoint inhibitor. I think this is less likely given that there were no responses from the Part B data.

There was a raise planned and Oxford funding was contingent on it. I presume market conditions and the depressed SP prevented it from going ahead.

They may source funds from elsewhere. They may not.

I am going by my analysis of the probabilities. Others are entitled to see things differently.

Oxford have only provided $5m so far.

They would need to speak to Oxford first about releasing the other $7.5m of the first tranch before getting them to release more, which is dependent on milestones that have not quite been reached yet.

What I would like to be clear on is does the $7.5m that has had to be deposited in a US custodian bank come out of the funding to Q4?

It's just that when you were out you were attacking the rampers and now you are back in you want me to get cancer for highlighting stuff that is in the annual report and calling out the same rampers that you did when you were out.

Some of you guys might remember that I sold all my 4d shares for 63p back in October. Not because I didn’t believe in the company but because I felt that there would be no meaningful news coming until we’ll into the first quarter, there was a big seller around and I could put my money to use better elsewhere. In fact Sang’s comment that “ we would need a sleeping bag” confirmed my decision. Anyway I’m back now and cannot believe that I have been able to buy back in at 50p after these astonishing results. I totally agree with Porky and Phil Gekko that this is about to bounce massively very soon. GLA and well done to everyone that held their nerve. SL

Look mate. Your desperate for the SP to rise, I get that. But chill, you’re in it for the long term and as soon as positive results arrive it will. The rise over the last week could not be sustained without the back up of news. Like you, I invest to make money and I felt that my money would work better for me elsewhere. Although 4d is a small investment for me I am determined that I’m not going to lose money here. I’ve been invested in it for about 18 months now and I have to be honest it’s been like a death of a thousand cuts. I’m sure that it will come good in the end, I don’t have a habit of bad investments

It was stated as fact and it's not verifiable.

The Oxford money was conditional on a raise of $45m being completed by April 1st.

Phil - the company have stated funding until Q4. That starts on Oct 1st

Cash burn and funds in hand make that sound about right.

As they approach zero cash the market will be aware. And the SP will reflect this. Evelo Biosciences have the same problem.

The Primary endpoint of the 0518 trial was very vaguely defined as preliminary signals of anti tumour efficacy.

They would have done better if they had met secondary endpoint of measurable tumour reduction.

You seem to be suffering from a high degree of paranoia and trying to attribute motives to people raising concerns about fundamental matters of business viability.

Everything has to be about faith in the investment rather than logic and reasoning.
